Yes
Great looking bird houses Jo. Beautiful hellebores, Victor. I put some in 3 years ago but not many survived and I never saw a bloom.

They are hard to see, down faceing and mine have short stems. Pine Knot farms last years plants. I'll give them a few more years before I toss in the towel.
I looked underneath, Jo.....still nothing.
great birdhouses joann!
I am hopeing for three ocupancys out of five houses
Great color on that iris! Do you get wrens, Jo?
Love the crocus, hellebores and the birdhouses. My crocus blooms are trapped under the snow. Snow cover dries out the witch hazel blossoms too.
Just to be different, I think I want to hang up a bat house :)
Might attract robins.
Hmmm. So far, the robins like to nest on our outdoor light fixtures where it's warm and sheltered.
Batman, robin...
Lol
My grandy, Henry, wants to build a bat house with pop-pop. They are his favorite!!!
I looked this morning and I already have birds making nest in 2 of my bird houses. They looked like blue birds. So I put up the 2 new ones for finches. I will have to check the rest of the houses and see what is taking place there.
Awesome, Marie!!!
I'm a little slow on the uptake, tonight... still thinking of doomsday scenarios for when we get college financial aid letters. Maybe WE should go live in one of those little houses.
Done with SAT and AP study books. Every place my job takes me, I'm distributing them to parents with younger hs kids. Because it was all in triplicate, we had a shelf full. The study books paid off though for the the girls, who used them. DS did it the hard way by taking the real tests as practice, but he did practice the math I test, which made a huge difference in the result.
That also is so much more common or 'mandatory' these days. I did no prep whatsoever.
Wow! I can't believe I'm missing so many cool blooms going on up there! We are both getting our heads into getting ready for the Grand Return! This winter has not been my best, so I'm ready to get back up to God's country! The highlight was getting to meet Jan and spend some time confirming what I already knew. LOL. Now I'm looking forward to seeing what will be coming up in my gardens up there. Jo -those adorable birdhouses will be taking renters bedfore you know it! All of the spring bulbs and helleborus are looking so good to me. Daylight Savings time starts this weekend, so Happy Spring, my friends! Enjoy! And Celeste, I hope you dig out soon.
Good thing I didn't have any liquid in my mouth when I read that, DB. Boy, if I was a highlight, then it must have been a rough winter. Hoping your art classes were just what you had hoped. Your projects looked amazing. Maybe someday I can learn how to draw. Good thing teaching biology didn't rely on that. The kids knew that I did my best. At least I got my ideas across. I will tell you that I was very impressed with the Ft. myers area. When are you heading north?
I'd love more birdhouses.
I just realized I need to get my birdhouses back out, took them down when hurricane Irene hit and never put them back up
i agree victor i can not remember anyone who took prep courses or tests when i was in school.
Louise, never saw those art projects! You need to post some! I have no birdhouses left.....will be heading up to Ward's Nursery in Gt. Barrington soon....they always have some unusual ones....
Nice!!
Love the blooms. My crocus are trapped under the snow.
We resisted the prep tools too. I never even took a practice test when I was in school, but then the State of Illinois was estimating our IQ scores from fourth grade standardized tests. We got tons of those achievement tests when I was growing up, so SAT and ACT were nothing particularly new. I said no to courses for my kids but there's published research that the books and practice tests make as much difference as any class, so that's what we pushed.
Mine are under snow too Rose, will be awhile i'm afraid. :(
