Whats New March 2012

Things are just starting here in Z 6 . Nothing else up enough to photograph and we are probably going to get one more snowstorm before April
Galanthus are so welcome.I suppose some of the gardeners will have crocus blooming.

No crocus yet, just this new reticulated iris from Brent & Becky's......

Great Marilyn I did see one of mine. The rest are comming soon.

My Snow drops came up last week. I have to go out today and see how they are doing under the snow.

I have no idea how I ended up with snow drops. From where they are located, I think a bird must of eaten a seed and than passed it while setting on the tree limb above them.

My Prim Rose is up and blooming.

Nice photos! Marie, you must be way warmer than than I am.....

We have been getting in the 50's during the day and low 30's at night. But since i had 2 trees taken down I am getting a lot more sun in that area.

uggg I expect we will get a blizzers sometime this month. Winters last gasp.

As they say, If March come in like a Lamb, it will go out like a Lion. We still could get hot hard with a bad bunch of weather.

I have daffodils and hyacinths poking up. The snowdrops are fully open and it looks like the grape hyacinths that I planted late last year have made it.

Im envious!

Here is one bunch of daffodils poking up that grow wild out back.

I saw my daff foliage poking up too.. funny I was in West Orange yesterday.. and it's only 20 mins from here.. the daffs there were already budding

I saw some daffs blooming in town today. Mine are about to pop. I have a hyacinth about 2 " tall and blooming.

My hyacinths are just popping up, but in town, they have color on them.....

Looks like the crocus 'minimus' I planted there are the correct color though....almost there

marie, maybe you're in a microclimate? These reticulated are in a SUPER sunny area, don't know if that makes a difference
