never bought those trays.. can't really pick them up full can you?
Spending spree #10
I ordered from Romence last year everything just kept growing after planted. No down time for shipping recovery.Really nice.
ah peat pots.. don't use em.. thanks Sherrie
Garden Flags is having 70% off.
Have not tried Romance......Jo, you are very bad to tell me about it!
Lol, I think you are about to tell Jo she needs to go to the time-out chair.
Jo I agree, I can never tell where the bulbs need to be planted in the fall, because the area is usually filled in
Great thing about bulbs - almost impossible to have too many. Just keep adding and adding. Massing looks spectacular.
Victor I agree about massing. What colors are you looking at?
I have red plastic picnic knives.I will mark for bulbs with them and make notes so I can find the knives in fall under foliage.
Love blues, but will do others too - yellows, whites, maybe a few pinks in certain areas.
This is just dreaming but I like J Sheepers
Blue Parrot
Parrot Rococo
Barcelona triumpth
Gavota
Rosalie
Rembrants favorite
I need the salmons and oranges to enlarge areas where I have JapGrots and other yellows.
The pink and blues are for new gardens.
I purchased $60 in vege seeds from http://www.theonlinegreenhouse.com/ I also ordered 200$ in peonies and spring bulbs from kvbwholesale.com who had been offering a discount, spend $200, get $100 off. I've just relocated back to Central PA after 20 yrs in FL and I'm anxious to get started with flower beds about the lot and my city garden !
Welcome back to the North and good luck!!
wow that's quite a change.. best of luck with your new gardens!!
Have fun with your new projects!
Peonies are a good start, although they are usually planted in the fall. what type do you have?
Caladium order shipped yesterday
All kinds of sighns of spring.
just added to my jm order today - it will take 3 hands to count the number of trees i have coming this year
Whoo Hoo! That many trees and a place to put them!
Bulk of my orders is in shrubs, but also a few deciduous trees, and a variety of dwarf or larger evergreens. It's the viburnums that have got me going, since I know they shouldn't get hot in pots over summer and their homes are all selected. Dogwoods will have their day. Some camellias can overwinter in pots if they must.
who said i had a place to put them - they will find a home the question is where and how much grass will go :)
Kill the grass!!!
O M G I wish I had as much stamina as you guys. Nice goin Bill
where would Jen make grass angels then????
i'll save that spot for her :)
☺
Hubby is finally learning...he's taking away the entire back section of grass away(this is an older pic, couldn't find a newer one [weird], I 'll have to take one) so he doesn't have to mow back there around the trees, I'm going to border it with something [haven't decided what yet] then lay thick pile of mulch)....he also said "why do you think I'm "letting" you get a pool"
Well, of course! My DH hated mowing around the trees, he would have chopped them all down if I wasn't there.....
Deb and I went to Garden center. My Picasa has changed the way I can copy and paste albums I hope this works!!!

Oohhh, I saw a shopping cart. Was it full?
As you can see they were just opening. All the perennials are small and the garden accesories arent tacked yet. No full carts but in May mine will be.
the picasa change annoyed me as well JoAnn.. nice pics!!
Hope you girls had a great time...just breathing in that greenhouse smell is lovely.....
you are not kidding.. can't wait for tomorrow.. Weeze is coming up and we are going to the sussex flower show.. feel like christmas is coming!!!
Our Gardenscape is opening today. I want to find someone who can build me a decorative garden path using recycled materials. I just hate the crowds
Oh, have fun, Allisn and tell her Hi for me.
Jo, I don't like crowds either. Good luck with your search.
