I may have a Grandson tonight! Andy just called and said she is having contractions every 3-4 minutes. They are on the way to the hospital, and as soon as I know she is in real labor, and dilated, I am on the way! I will keep you posted.
I can hear the excitement in your voice, LK! Wishing all the best for Heather too to have an easy delivery. You know that gives a whole new meaning to She's About To.....!
hooRAY!! I can't wait.. I know you can't either! Like Fruity said, she's about to indeed!
Still no baby! They kept her for a few hours, and told her it was a false alarm. She was not dilating, so they sent her home!
Heather just posted on facebook, that after her ultra sounds last night that she is due 29 February. It should not be too long now!
Hello ladies:
Just checking in. Been busy pretending to be living in the real world instead of the virtual one, but you know I can't live without you. ;)
-sigh-
Faye and Ray you are in my prayers always. Let me know if you need some more sunshine.
I am feeling a little sick myself.
I just got finished looking thru Annie's Annual catalog that came today and by the last page I actually got a cold chill up my spine into my neck and chicken skin popped out on both arms. My blood pressure is up, my throat feels tight, my sinuses are tingling, crazy 'chit.
Seriously. From looking at the catalog. I guess I need to get out more.
Loveya.

Wow things change fast in life and virtual life both. Wow.
Hope everything is getting better for everyone.
Heavens Debra I thought I was tired until I read your post, now I am shot! rofl. How pretty everything must be.
Well DH went out and bought a tiny excavator so look out, I will get water to the garden room and a much bigger pond. I am so excited. Altho he bought it to work on the septic tank....not too exciting, but something I don't want to live without...rofl.
I get taht way too when I see Annies Annuals stuff..
are yer hormones still going? Sometimes I think I have a few left and that is why I get so kacited bout stuffs..
Gee Joyce, can yer DH bring that thing down here and make my mini pond a little bigger fer me? LOL well hweck, let's just excavate around the house too, so I can fill in the dang cracks. ( Just Kidding) I bet yer excited to get water where ya need it.
Gee no baby yet. * sigh* oh the waiting jst kills me...
speaking of waiting..
Maya is flushing.. finally.
LK, how cool would it be for Heather to have a Leap Year Baby? Once you know she's really in labor, how long is the drive or will you fly? Bet even if you drive, you'll be flying low...lol
Annie's Annuals must be the only catalog I don't receive, although her website has popped up in searches. So far I've been very good not ordering a darn thing, except a few seeds. Still waiting not so patiently to see what's our local greenhouses will have when they reopen in a few weeks.
I'll thrilled for you, happ! You've waited so long for a water source. Just think, before long you won't be schlepping cans.
Pic is the Amaryllis you gave me, Neener, blooming now and planted in my FOTV pot you decorated, Susie. Love them both and everybody here too.
I will be driving, it is 160 miles. If I take the mustang, I can fly low! :)
AWE Fruity that is so pretty I have one i cannot get to bloom WHY ??? Maybe to big of a POT ?
Don't water Often enough ? Stems are Way to tall ??? How Often do you feed yours ???
gotta go my puter is about to reboot
You know we're Ford people, LK. My very first new car, eons ago, was a Mustang. Motors in the newer models don't fall much below those in NASCAR races. Fly below the radar...lol
If your Amaryllis has a stem / stalk, Susie, it shouldn't be long before it blooms. From what I've learned, the leaves feed the bulb and shouldn't be cut back, nor should the bulb be watered until it has leaves. They'll eventually turn yellow on their own and fall off. I don't water until I see a stalk emerging. Amaryllis available around Christmas have been pre-chilled, same thing as forcing a bulb.

Dang Debra, we bought it in Topeka we could of went on to Wichita, it is so darn cute, we could of dug a pond in minutes! It is not a huge I will have no trouble handling it. DH dug with it today but it is so darn cold! Windy altho the sun is shining. Tomorrow is suppose to be warmer, I sure hope so, oh we got snow last night it was really warm and these really dark clouds were rolling in and temps started falling like a rock but the sunset was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life. Then the snow started it was snowing hard and the wind blowing something awful very odd weather.
I went to a pampered cheif thing today, they do have good stuff but dang those prices, but had fun, met some new people and they were all so funny.
Peach tree is really buddied out along with everything else, suppose to be in the 50's next week.
Happ your haven the same type of weather I think you are sending it my way seems you get it 1st :) so hope you send the 50's our way also :)))) well off to soak some seeds :))) have a great evening .
Joyce, just sun and wind here today...
I bought a complete set of pampered chef knives and am extremely dissapointed in them as one has already broken and four of them rust very easily. the one thing that is good is the grill tool Joe uses every weekend it has a fliper and a fork on it.
Knorks is a new line of silver ware, my BIL sells it and it has really taken over the town, but I feel it is clunky and doesn't live p to it's promise of a for being used as a knife as well, now they have knives and spoons and all kinds of stuff by knork and it takes the knork thing away and puts it in the same category as regular silverware. one of their steak knifes broke as well and it is weird cuz they all break at the handle.
daturas , Maya and morning glorys all blooming away right now..

Birdhouse swap for anyone interested...
Geez I've just been lurking around here and everywhere else this week. I can't get my head in the game right now. Glad everyone is hanging in there.
yes Mandy you do need to get out more often. :0)
Got an Oakes daylily catalog the other day and that's been about the most exciting thing all week. DH told me to make an order so I will gladly oblige. Not going to do many annuals this year, but you all have me hooked on daylilies now.
I really need to drag myself out of this chair and finish the last bits of painting. Seems like every time I planned last week to get to it something else caused a disruption and I'm still not done.
I've tried multiple times to load some pics and it won't work. I think the files are too big and need to downsize them. What can I say, it's on the list. :0)
Checking in to let you know at least Ray in not back in the Hospital. He is having a hard time with the tube in his kidney getting stopped up. That means another trip to the Dr.'s office. Took him today and this time I asked the Dr. for a syringe so I could flush the tube instead of taking him back.
Ray is also coughing almost all the time, and he doesn't have a cold. We are both exhausted but thankful that Ray is still able to be home and also thankful that so far he hasn't had to go on dialyzes.
Nita, I have many, many Daylilys and when they are old enough to divide, I will gladly share with you.
Love & Hugs!
Faye, we are still sending lots of prayers your way! Praying for a complete recovery!
AW Faye..you did share some with me last year. They are part of the reason we are now "hooked" on daylilies. Tell Ray I'm thinking of him. Sent him something on Saturday to make him smile. :0)
Debra you sure have the touch with the brugs. I lost my Maya last year. The summer before I had planted it in the ground along the front walkway. It sure was a stunner. Couldn't keep the cuttings going over the winter. I so hope my brugs do a lot better this year. Right now they are in the garage, naked as jaybirds. Soon time to start waking them up.

Susie, sorry to hear about your Brother. Sending prayers his way! Get some rest, and hope you get rid of that fever.
Susie, Praying for a speedy recovery of yur brother, and you too!
Faye and Ray - Court and I would recommend herbal supplement Mullein - it is used for all manner of respiratory ailments and we have both benefited from use during colds and allergies.
I am not aware of any reason to think there'd be an adverse reaction with any of Ray's medications.
Might not hurt to try.

an update to my thread.. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1167701/
Heather just called she is in the hospital and dilated to 2 cm. She had a bad asthma attack yesterday, and passed out and hit her head when she fell, so when she came to, she called her Dad, he went and picked her up, and rushed her to the ER. Well, she started contractions while she was there, so they took her to labor and delivery. She is not having contractions now, but she is still dilated, so she is waiting for the Dr. to tell her whether they will induce her today or not! She should know more in about an hour.
When I find out what is going on, I will post here with a quick, I am off, see you later. I will take my ipad with me, and as soon as I get internet connection over there, I will let you all know when Dylan arrives.
awwww... we can't wait to see Dylan! Good luck and take pics!
and I hope Heather doesn't have any complications, since she fell and all... P & T your way.
She is still in the hospital, they have not induced her yet, they are now saying she may Pre-eclampsia. Something to do with her blood count, and high blood pressure, so they still could induce her any time now, they are just watching her blood count.
Did I say I hate waiting???
oh, boy, i see a big baby boy coming soon..
You still may have a Leap Year Grandson, LK! I really hope Heather doesn't have any further complications and she has an easy delivery.
I'm holding ALL of you and your loved ones close to my heart for a speedy recovery.
Debra, I was so worried about you after seeing the path of destruction on the news this morning that showed many tornados touched down near you.
Well, still no Dylan, Dr.'s can't decide if they want to force him or not. She will be examined again in the morning, and if she is still dilated, they will maybe make a decision then???
