kids played outside all day and hubby washed the trucks(dishes are still in the sink but the trucks are clean *sigh*)

LOL, Jen....sorry about the ice, Pixie...hope it wasn't too bad....it was 48 here & foggy until about 3....then it cleared as I was driving west....bright sun in my eyes!

Just finished off planting the muscari bulbs. 300 between yesterday and now! Most in the patio planters and containers. 70 in the ground right outside the DR window.

50° cold air coming overnight. DH out to try & locate a hawk which had perched on one of our oak trees before he could grab the birdbook.

It was 49 when I walked Suey this afternoon....much different from this morning when we had a freezing fog, & my drive & hilly road were just awful! Jen, love the helmet.....biker babe already! Iris, I've seen hawks yesterday & today....1st was a Cooper's...have no idea what today's was.....

The temp is 22, a bit of wind, but I dressed for it & was toasty warm on my walk.....the weathermen made it sound like we were going to freeze to death, but it's January, it's supposed to be cold!

I like the cold but that wind!!!!!!brrrrrrrr
