Dinner was so good, all I thought would be left over...was not! DS even went back for seconds, very odd for him. He ate a small dinner, went down to the school and worked out for over an hour...and came back to EAT! He was thrilled I told him to take the van down so he went out alone and put GAS in it! OMG!

Thinking I might head to bed before "the child" gets home and the drama starts. Dear heavens, it has been a week! Her "boyfriend" dumped her for her "best friend". OMG!!! And the best friend was her only "go too" when she was upset. She has really done some "out of normal context" things lately and big sisters even got after her. It is just wasted breath right now as she only hears what she wants.

Well, honest....I need to get to bed. Sweet dreams....don't be surprised if I am back shortly. lol

Debbie, makes the time cooking and clean up worthwhile watching everyone enjoy the meal, and no leftovers, must have been the twice cooked potatoes. Ooooh didn't realize the Child loss her best friend as well..that hurts for sure!id be rushing off to bed for sure..

Susan how wonderful, best Christmas present ever! Bet the family is ecstatic having you come visit..see, those extra days off will come in handy after all. Guess you'll now be creative getting gifts ready to take with you. I am so happy for you.

Mary, you just gave me an idea..a chauffeur cap would be such a fun thing to get for Kyle, wonder where one could find such a thing..souns as though Dianne and Santa Warren will have to send you a care package filled with chocolate seeing they have calorie free chocolate! Lol

Morning everyone! How about some fresh coffee with banana muffins? 4:30 am here and I am wide awake!

I'm up too! Surprise, surprise!!! Sometimes this time of year I just sit in the dark with all the Christmas lights on reveling in their beauty. At least if I can't sleep it is very claming for me. Did manage to catch a length nap yesterday afternon - over an hour that is long for me. Good thing too as Santa Warren had another rough night.I think the next night he has such a bad time breathing I will just call 911. We pay huge extending health coverage payments each much and have never used them once. Think the time is drawing neigh.

Need coffee. Hope everyone has time to rest and reflect on the good things that are happening in their lives each day. Lights are flickering - going to post this before we lose power. High winds and rain!!Oh joy!

Forecasted high of 51*F today.Who hoo !Santa can come wearing shorts.Fiddling around with Santa Warren's new laptop lots of new things on this one compared to my oldie but goodie. Going to take get some used to this Windows 7.

Taken me forever to get this typed. Sitting in bed all comfy by Santa Warren is going to be a great asset . Time for coffee, will be be back soon.

Betty, yes he did sand it. BUT...he cut out stencil of the word for me to help the painting a bit easier. With my eyesight...I had some issues.

OH! Santa came today and brought me a box full of joy. Thank you Warren for the great swap buddy and thank all of you for being here when I need you. Special thank you Debbie for all the goodies and am so glad things are going better for you. I got a kitty sock full of toys. They wouldn't leave it alone hardly for me to take a pic. I love the little snowmen. I didn't have any and the socks I love and will put them on and make me some of the pumkin bread and hot chocolate one evening when the snow flys and think of you. Love the Amaryllis bulb. I had one one yr that had 14 blooms from one bulb. This was such fun. Happy Holidays to all. Oh and will have to bake some cookies for the cookie plate. LOVE & HUGS BEV

Betty, I wish I could sit at the machine all day! My back would not tolerate that at all! I sit for maybe an hour, get up and do something else, then go back for another hour...

Yay! Bev, so happy you received your box. You know, my kitty...Axl, the naughty one. Well, he wouldn't leave that kitty sock alone and while I was wrapping the other things...he dragged it off under the table!

Bev, I have to tell you something. Those snowmen are very special. They were my Moms, and well, you were so thoughtful and helped me so much when she was ill....I wanted you to have part of her. Bev, I have over 200 snowmen....but these 3..well, they reminded me of YOU, Me and Betty on our trip! LOL SO please enjoy them and know they were sent with love.

I had PT today and am feeling a bit sore....so going to make some tea in my special chicken cup from Suse....I just love it....and rest for a bit!

Hi - I'm still alive but computerless. Neighbor Dana is letting me use hers so I can drop in and let you all know I'm still hanging in. I miss all of you a lot, but think I'm getting more done without the puter. Major work on the kitchen coming to completion - tomorrow we will be moving the frig and two cupboards, amking a few plans and then I can start putting things away. Hooray!! I'm still having a good season. More physical pain than I'd like but I will take it over depression. Found a Jodie Davis book on frayed applique and thought of you who are doing frayed quilts.

I sometimes miss the other worldliness of lots of snow but The Baja has such strange plants and vistas that it is often like be3ing on another planet.

My niece may be in San Diego in February. If so, I will probaly go up to visit her as I haven't seen her in too many years (maybe 15) and would happily drive 600 miles each way for a visit. She is my only family that I am still on speaking tems with. Good thing I also have Tony and his family as they make me relatewd to at least half the people here in town.

Hope you are are enjoying the season and doing good things for yourselves.
