Coffee Break # 69 Its Holiday time

Hopefully it's something that only lives down south....I have well water, not clorinated.....who knows what's in it....

A bit sad for my girlies last night. We went to see a house that does a great light display and Fox/Philly news was there and asked if they could interview us, we said sure, they ask all kinds of questions about how we liked the display and what our names were. Told us it would air last night around 10:30. The girls couldn't wait. We made cookies while waiting for it to come on and of course called and told everyone. Well they never showed us. I guess we didn't do well or they had to much footage but Sophie was so disappointed. All she kept saying was "but she told us it would be on"
Just one more reason as to why I don't like that news station GRRR!!

Oh, how disappointing! It happened a few months ago to my great niece in second grade....CBS went into her classroom, but they didn't show her......

Wow, I went to Longwood Gardens last week to see their Christmas Displays. If you are anywhere near there, it's a must see. It was so beautiful. Plan to go when you can stay after dark too as the lights are so gorgeous. There are a lot of great pictures on the web, of course, but here are a few of mine:

Our church's adult and children's choir cantata is tonight. I'm going, but will try to find an isolated corner so I don't breathe on anybody. I feel so much better, but not well enough to sing with DH, DIL and 3 grandies. I'll skip the dinner afterwards, though.

Had a house full of company today & I'm beat! The grandkids were just a wee bit wound up....the girls were in a Christmas play at church & very excited about it....or maybe it was the sugar in the refreshments!
