Ory turns 4 on the 14th of this month,
Oldest DGD turns 13 on Jan. 1st,
Isabella turns 3 on the Jan. 14th
DGD Darby turns 5 Feb. 28th,
and Charlie will be 1 March 15th.
I have April off (for now) then DGD Hayden will turn 8 in May.

Charley is ADORABLE. There's nothing better than cuddling with them. I think I will be seeing the birth of my last grandchild soon. We have 7 grandsons,...20, 15, 12, 12, 10, 10, 5 and one on the way.

Just returned from helping my youngest daughter and her family get thru her precarious pregnancy. "Max" is still hanging in there and needs 3 more weeks to be only 4 weeks premature unless he makes it to the proper due date at the end of January.. DD was given cortico-steroid shots to hurry up the development of his lungs if born too early.

It's coming up on my 2 year anniversary of my mom's passing...we went to a nursing home Friday night with the kids from church to hand out stockings and cards to those that have little or no family visiting them(how sad is that!!!!) and then they did Christmas carols...I was kind of emotional so stayed in the hallway making sure the kids behaved rather than going in the rooms with them..I couldn't have handled that.


Our Christmas brunch was yesterday....lots of work, man was I exhausted!

Guy from church just lost his brother, he was on a motorcycle when 2 cars behind him got into an accident and the one car got thrown into him in turn throwing him into a car next to him...was in a coma but never came out of it, he was 46

What a freak accident! Very sad to lose a loved one around the holidays....That Charlie is a keeper! Roses, no girls! But it might not be your last grandchild......strange things sometimes happen!

How awful.

Tradgedies sure hit hard this time of year. A family several streets away lost everything in a fire tow days ago. The fire men actually entered the burning house and rescued their dog and cat. When the dog wasn't breathing he picked up the dog and ran over a mile with the dog in his arms to the Emergency Vet Hospital. The dog should make a full recovery.

And on stretching cats...any one seen the cats dogs kittens and puppies Yoga calenders?

On Twitter I follow a guy who owns a small company that makes a cool clamp for photography. He tweeted about sending a clamp to some comedian who happens to be into photography. I replied to him saying that if he is in the giving mood, I would love one and I was probably funnier than the comedian. He took the bait and challenged me to make him laugh. If I did, I get the clamp. I sent him a funny (mature) photo. He (and his wife) laughed.
