Thanks Robin, spent the day home wrapping gifts, was to afraid to drive. DGD had a basketball game after school in this crap, DD was not happy!!

Yes, the thunder shook the house last night, & the rain just battered the windows....scary! Good thing it didn't last very long.....this morning, the 1st day of winter, I went outside to get the papers without a jacket, and it felt fine!

Beautiful warm sunny day today, 52 degrees and no wind.

We just got back from shopping and we were in shirt sleeves. Two banks said 60 degrees. Much too warm.

Yes - crazy warm for solstice. 53 and overcast. More rain on the way.

Hearing about solstice, Stonehenge and Druids, I always think of Mel Brooks. "Funny, you don't look Druish."

My own view on Stonehenge is that it is the remnants of a mall for a civilization of giants way back when. The rocks are the seating area outside where all the men waited for the women to finish shopping. They could sit around and bi*** and moan, etc.

Thunder around midnight last night but just a bit of rain. In the 50s today.

We hit 44 today! Short lived, we have snow coming in but only a couple of inches.

I actually weeded today, and have prim roses blooming.

Rain in the early morning. Sort of dripping now. The tree near the house had signs of an early frost. Snow predicted further west, but we are only 5 miles from the ocean. 36°

Yep 36F here too. The rain at 4 am was pretty loud and blowy, and now it's dark and wet.

30 here with some light white stuff - going to 40 so short lived

43 with the sun peeping out. No snow in forecast - yay!
