Weather In Your Garden # 106
55 and trying to rain.
73 degrees and sunny. There are ugly clouds around, but it's sunny. Hurray
Spent the afternoon at Hammonassett Beach....saw some great birds...the weather was perfect....now it's cloudy, threatening to shower....
Rain that was predicted for later today hasn't shown yet. It was sunny, 73 degrees and fair all day. Lucky me-- nice travel around the 495 belt for work, and then two hours before dark to excavate a bed. There were two buckets of old broken lanterns, rebar, and bottles buried there. Some were glass medicine bottles and one was a glass Milk of Magnesia bottle, intact. In its place, clean dirt and a Gauguin tree peony now, thanks to the mild weather. But, DD went to the roof to retrieve a frisbee and found a branch made a hole in the roof, obviously from Irene.
Randy and I will be running in and out today with the showers.. still have tons to do with decorating
Very dark this morning....showers until midday....Rosemary, those old bottles sound interesting....when digging a bed for my peonies 35 years ago, my DH found pieces of old dishes & bottles....nothing intact, though...
Good morning, everyone.
Quite cold at 45 degrees in WNY with rain. Staying in the 40's with more rain through Monday.
Have a blessed and super Saturday, friends. ☺

Temp is 66 degrees. No rain since last night. Overcast doesn't quite describe the atmosphere. It's more like what you'd see in a Thomas Eakens painting of a stormy coast. There's still illumination, clearly from the sun's lower angle. I've only seen this illuminated dark clarity in fall in New England.
50 and rain. windy too.
Very humid here....day was mostly dry, but overcast....
Windy and quite cool, 56 degrees. Rain, rain, rain for the next few days. Everything is soggy indoors and out.
