Hey, its been raining. Today just dark and wet, and 72 degrees. Good day to plant a dozen peony roots.

I was born on a rainy day too, WC, but my family's story is that sun and the apple blossoms were out in the orchard on the day i came home. Hope there are some happy events coming up in spite of the rain.

Hubby actually got out today for a ride...now it's cloudying up again

It was sunny and 80 even in Goshen today......had a good time at the dog show.....

it was very nice today. watched my neice's softball game.

playing around with decorations today.. we were both sweating like crazy.. just looked at Randy and said.. it doesn't feel like we should be doing this yet.. usually cool and crisp out

Going to the northern Catskills next weekend. Hope it's nicer and more fall-like.

The weather seemed fine after all the rain. Got some tough grass weeding done. Moved a border iris seedling moved. as it was being strangled by another seedling out of a different cross. Could barely stand the long sleeves, but those frustrated mosquitos. Missed one cut worm & squished 3 others. A wooly bear kept interferring, but was able to throw it into some dirt fairly far from me.

I saw my 1st wooly bear the other day...he had a lot of brown on him, warmer winter, so it can snow every day like last year! I'm not complaining about the heat....keeping the furnace off!

We'll be going to the Adirondacks next weekend, also hoping for good fall weather
Not doing our usual VT,NH trip this year, mostly because I don't want to do so much driving but partly because the damage from Irene
