This was awesome!!!!
Coffee Break #65
Love to see things like that.
Awesome! He clearly had parents that taught selflessness. You don't see much of that in most kids today. There are many exceptions though, and those are the ones I feel good about. Many are children of our DG friends that we either hear about or see at the RUs. Good for the kids and the parents who work so hard to see that their kids turn out well.
love the creamer JoAnn!!
That was a wonderful story.....very unselfish, not what most kids are like today.....
I really liked that piece, JoAnn.
Congrats to WC for BOTD!!

GORGEOUS pic, WC
Gorgeous indeed, WC!!!
very cool!
hope you guys get a chuckle out of this .. like I did.. I downloaded app zilla for the iphone.. and knew my one co worker would get a kick out of the voodoo doll... you know sticking pins in and the thing squeals ... he asked me what the "call letters" were so he can tell his brother where to find the app.. LOL
Hee hee!!
Nice shot, WC! Especially after sneezing on it!
That is a very cool photo......
Everyone's too busy gardening...it will increase in bad weather!
I have not been on as much lately.
Ludicrous. I would have done the same thing.

I would have, too.....this kind of nonsense where the bullies "rights" are considered more important than the victim is out of hand....
The long list of sad news continues. My next-door neighbors, both in their mid-80's are about to lose their second child. Their oldest son had a malignant brain tumor removed a few months ago and apparently it has spread and he does not have much time. They lost their eldest daughter about 11 or 12 years ago to breast cancer. Incredible.
oh, so sad
Yes it is. And they are the absolute nicest people. First to come over and make us feel welcome. We call them our local parents. The kids call them papa and grandma.
Horrid happening. One doesn't expect one's children to go first.
Oh, Victor, how sad. BIG HUGS to them
Thanks, ladies. Yes, it's unnatural to bury your kids.
So sorry to hear that Victor...it's just not right. That is my greatest fear.....I would guess it's EVERY parents fear.
I had started a new thread when we didn't need it...but looks like we do now. Please hop on over to the other coffee thread.
