good to hear you are feeling better!
Coffee Break #65
Thanks everyone. ^_^
Everybody went to sleep and the phone rings...I'm like "who's calling this late?" Oh it's only 9:30...hee hee
Well I posted the question of "How much was it going to cost Pixie to have six teeth pulled?"
Well, the surgeon liked me ^_^ and because I have no insurance he gave me a deal. I paid $1110.00 which is still an ouch but much better than the $2grand I thought it would cost me.
Better than no discount, good for you!
Put the rest in the oil tank...will be turning on the heat Sunday morning I think. :(
I'd layer on the clothes 1st before putting on the heat, don't like to do that before Halloween
Please....cannot face that yet! That price was not bad, Pixie....
Jen, we will be dropping to 34 degrees...the fireplace will be started first but if im not warm, heats going on!
That's not a bad price at all, Celeste!! How are you feeling now? It must be such a relief to have it behind you.
At least you don't have to worry about the operation(s) any more. I hope you stay warm & that your rain helps the garden.
Im fine Louise, hungry mostly:) Thank you for asking.
Yes IrisMA, im so thankful its over and can now concentrate on those over-grown gardens.
We have overgrown garden without the teeth. My shoulder with tendinitis is acting up again, but at least I know what it is now.
Sorry to hear that, this cold wet weather doesn't make it any better, im sure.
Hugs to you dear, pixie. Hoping the discomfort doesn't last too long and you can be eating normally again.
I went looking for a sewing machine today and ended up crying with the shop lady as we reminisced about our mothers. I had never laid eyes on this woman before in my life. Felt very comfortable with her, and, yes I walked out with a machine. It has been umpteen million years since I sewed anything. Looking forward to dabbling.
New toys are always fun! I hope you'll have lots of fun, Jan.
Thanks Jan! Sounds like you and this Lady connected :)
Enjoy sewing on your new machine, im sure those new Grandchildren will love anything you make them. ^_^
Heehee, even if they look a little wonky. I actually stopped at Goodwill and picked up a couple of large men's knit shirt, thinking that I could use them for pants. So...... Little Maggie around the corner can get some pants that fit. We'll see if my idea works out.
Good thinking, Jan, & it sounds like a fun project....I got the knitting out last night, want to finish the 2 sweaters I started for the grandkids.....
Could only happen to me....got out of the car to go in the bank, something lands on my head, I thought it was a leaf and I go to brush it away and get stung on my middle finger...so swollen I couldn't even bend it...UGH
OUCH, Jen!!!
Ouch! The bee (or wasp) must have been refused a deposit.
ewww!
Sorry about the sting, Jen....lots of ice & meat tenderizer.....
Good for flipping the bird, Jen! Are you allergic??
sorry Jen.. feel better
Sperm banks don't want any redheads to 'donate.' Seems there is very little demand outside of Ireland. Apparently, donors get around $500 per sample. Hmmm. Wonder if bald is in demand. ^_^
Oooh....ouch!! Poor little guy, Jen! Hope he feels better soon. Did it hurt Mom as much as it hurt him to have the staples put in?
aaaaawww poor baby
Ouch. Did you staple him yourself, Jen? ^_^ Swingline special!
Bald is beautiful, baby!!
I asked if I could remove them myself and they're like "No way!!!!"
I couldn't watch the actual stapling
Yes, that's cringe-inducing.
Had staples for my hip repair...they hurt coming out!
Has them way back for my appendectomy.
Cringed just reading this. Hope it doesn't hurt too much.
looks like a nasty cut
Yeah, I knew when I first saw it at the school it was going to need something
I'm told that staples are better than stitches.
