yes food is always good.. thoughts & prayers to everyone RD
Coffee Break #65
Sorry to hear that Robindog.
Thank you all so much....Carl is doing better, & may go home today....doctors believe it was a potent infection, but the IV treatment is working....after I brought the food last night, Garret & his wife went over to a friend's house while I babysat....they really needed to get out........
Marilyn - add me to your prayer chain! Glad Carl is doing better! You're such a great Mom! What a lovely, thoughtful thing to do. I'm sure it was much appreciated. So hard to see your kids hurting!! Hugs!
Louise
They made me a cat!!!! ^_^ ^_^ ^_^

cool!
Thanks, Louise. Carl came to Garret's today for lunch, but he was still quite weak....Garret's thinking of going back to school for a master's degree, but don't ask me how that will help in his field....unless he wants to teach landscape architecture......Pixie, I love that cat! You must have room for one!
Oooh, that's a cutie!
There is always scum to take advantage of others' misery.

Just disgusting......
going to hold my thoughts on that
So did not know that there was a federal prison camp at Fort Dix(about 15mins from me)
I remember when my brother trained at Fort Dix....this was during the end of the Korean War, but he, thankfully, ended up in Puerto Rico.....
"It was a very difficult period. We have families, and colleges to pay for, and mortgages."
Oh cry me river!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw that last night on the news...that thing is HUGE
A monster, indeed! I wonder whose job it will be to feed him?
Ever wonder why certain things were not invented or introduced YEARS ago?!! For example, why did it take so long to put wheels on luggage????
And why so long to put flip-tops on veggie and fruit cans?? They had been used on soda and beer for years! Weird.
Any others??
My grandfather always complained when I was a kid that they did not put heating vents in the rear of cars!
Those are good examples, except for the flip-tops...hard for me to open the cans....how about windows that open in, so cleaning can be done inside....love that feature...
For medical reasons, I can't type right now, but I have many comments regarding Victor's observations.
3:15 AM:
I'm forcing myself to watch 9/11 stuff, and I still cry, 10 years later........................
I still cry and can't watch
I still cry too.
Same here....on a happier note, my DIL has a job interview.....it's with GE in Danbury...even if she doesn't get the job, at least she's looking....the program Garret wants to get into starts in June....it will allow him to teach landscape design in the vo-ag high schools....
I cry too(how could you not?)
So do I. I know I will when I visit the memorial in a couple of weeks.
Just read that the Feds are aware of a credible terror threat related to 9/11 for the NY and DC areas.
Not surprised.....
This is downright abusive!!
