Managed to work for an hour....going back out soon....just a lovely July day!

Nice breeze all day. We hit 84. At 82 now.

Hit 79, was a beautiful day. ^_^

it was nice enough that DH and I finished weeding the bed we started yesterday and another small bed. 2 more to go. I'm very sore right now. Finally getting caught up with the weeding.

Gorgeous summer day, too bad I woke up with a migraine! So slept on and off till 2 then had to do dishes and put laudry away....UGH

High was 88° but low humidity and a nice breeze

Lucy, it must feel great to be almost caught up on the weeding! No fun to be sore, but at least you have something to show for it! lol

So glad so many had a great day! I spent a lot of it inside with the computer guy, but it was worth it! I have had spotty internet connections for 3 months. No more, knock wood!

digging & marking miniature tall irises today. Comfortable. funny DH's award winning iris had started to move into the grass so got that up & turned out to be 11 pieces. got my eye on yours J-2.

I have a bunch of TB that I want to dig and look if they are ok.. the foliage looks so bad this year.. hope they are not eaten or rotten

It's 61 going on 85. It was pretty warm yesterday afternoon. I always work at the herb garden on Wednesdays, 4 to 6. Not as bad as the weeks before were though.

63 now going to 87.. so much for the nice temps

57 now, heading to 79 again today. ^_^

77.6 now and the forecast says we'll have a high of 80 but it seems it will be hotter than that.

75° & sunny. Supposed to be in the 80s but 'cooler near the coast' I hope that we are near enough. DH dug up some dwarf irises this morning but I won't get a chance to mark them until later after Dr. appointments & groceries. We do have to eat.

84 and not too bad with the humidity. I wasn't as sore today as I thought I'd be. Yay!

Robindog - what do you plan to do with your blueberry pickings? Pies, freeze them??? Jam??? Yumm. We went to a luncheon today and the host gave us each a pint of really sweet and delicious local blueberries. Hank and I each have our own pint. mmmmmm.

I agree with celeste....people-less beaches are the best, especially at the break of dawn - my favorite time on the beach.

Allison - hope you feel better, but get the storms if you need the rain like we do.

If no people, how can you enjoy them as you aren't there?

Me as the only person, Iris! Louise, I'm making blueberry muffins tomorrow, freezing some berries, giving some to mother, sister, & friend.......My son's FIL, who was watching the fields this afternoon, said someone picked 45 pounds today, & will be back for 50 pounds tomorrow....must be selling them elsewhere at a higher price!

Thanks for the compliments on the pic, it wasn't even that early about 9 am when we got there, guess because it was a work day the beach was relatively empty until about noon when we left, - it's also a very looong beach. ☺
