very nice Victor.
I just recieved the short phlox that you have on PF.
Do you still have it?
How is it doing "Junior Dance" just remembered.
Garden Photos #13
Doing fine!
thanx
don't know what your freaky beeish bug is.. that sputnik is sooo you!!... and I forgot to tell you the agastache summer glow.. is gone already.. just knew it wasn't going to be a good one from the get go.. too wimpy.. was shocked to see it came back last year in fact.. wish I would have kept that one in the house.. oh well.. next time
:(
Nice photos, Victor and Marilyn! Marilyn, I love your white cleome. I bought some 6 packs but never got them planted. They are blooming, but very stunted. :-(
Karen
I'm wrong about that one being Orchids And Diamonds. I don't know which one it is.
love aurora rasp. .. my neighbor must have that same hydrangea.. fantastic every year
Thanks, Victor, for driving me nuts trying to identify the bugs...have already looked through all the library materials, & Google to find the moth on my porch...no luck. Your butterfly with the orange spot is a hairstreak...I think the skipper is fusina skipper, & the black & yellow bug is a sawfly..no idea what the metallic one is.....Karen, love the Ballyhoo especially.....
wow cool!!
Wow, that meadow rue is amazing!
couldn't help it.. just have to be happy amongst those flowers!!!
Thanks, Marilyn! You mean that scary one is a sawfly??
Beauties, Karen. Amazing height on that rue!
It's a great spot to do photography. I should go pro and do on location portraits in my gardens. Then I'd never get any gardening done!
Karen
Yes, the scary one is the eastern sawfly...black & yellow ......
Thanks, Victor. I know, isn't that amazing? It's the tallest one I've ever seen.
Karen
push for wedding photos.. add the word wedding to anything.. triple the cost
Great idea, Allison! I think I will go with that. Maybe too late for this year, but a great idea for next year. I could book a few here and there and make some extra money for mulch, woodchips, rocks, garden ornaments, plants, gloves, etc. Weeeee!!!!!!
Karen
would have to keep up with your deadheading though
;)
Yes. I had another idea, which would work out better for me. I could contact some of the local photographers in the area and see if they might want to use my gardens for some location shooting, and charge them a fee for each use. That would free up my time to be doing yard work while they do the photography.
