no rain at all here... running the sprinklers.. even though they say there could be a possible thunderstorm today.. everything is so darn dry

We had rain last night but it was not enough to soak the plants like they need.
65 with 87% humidity, heading to 85 today and hopefully the humidity will drop.

Yesterday was hot for sure. I'm looking at the rest of the week and Friday, my day off, is supposed to get to 99 degrees.

There's less than a tenth of an inch of rain in my rain gauge from yesterday. Very disappointing.

Even the Maine coast was hot.....went to Parson's Beach for some birding, and the breeze was like a blast furnace! Yesterday, it rained for 2 hours there....my neighbor said a half hour of light rain here.....everything is dry.......

I'll just have to wait to see the 3 new daylily blooms that I can see out the window. DG time, I guess, because I don't dare do any indoor work. LOL

I did plant all my RU plants....I'm soaked.....drinking water & iced tea (with chocolate mint) to rehydrate....will NOT be planting or weeding for the next 3 days......
