It's dinner time, whats cooking?

Was going to have lobsta, took them out of the package and there was some black gross stuff coming out of it....YUCK!!!!!!!!! Burgers instead....sheesh

Ugh....don't like them at all! I guess it's cold soup & salad for tonight.....

Ground Turkey is spreading Salmonella in 20 states. Someone find it. I dont have time right now.

I've made meatballs with it, but you need a lot of seasoning.....tonight is left over BBQ pork, COB, and a salad....

I've tried to use it mixed in with ground beef, he can still tell the turkey is it, now I don't even bother

I rather have steak then a burger so I would rather have the whole turkey.

Yesterday I took the left-over butterfly pasta in a butter sauce with peas, mushrooms and onions and turned it into a baked layered pasta dish. I added a jar of Alfredo sauce to the pasta and made a lasagna-like filling with cottage cheese, mozzarella, Parmesan, herbs and eggs. Put half the pasta in the dish, spread on the filling, put the rest of the pasta over that and some grated mozz. on top and baked it at 350 degrees for 1 hour. My family loved that. We just finished the leftovers for lunch.

Planning to use my buy one-get one free dinner coupon from Denny's for dinner later today as it is the last day to use that coupon.

Tonight we took a friend out to eat for his B-Day. We went to Longhorn's and I tried the new Trio the have, it was very good.
Last night we had broccoli from the garden with.....I forget. The broc. was so sweet I don't remember the rest. ^_^

They are going to opening a Texas Roadhouse on the other side of town....that's the place where they have peanuts out to eat while you wait and there are peanuts shells all over the floor

We have a Texas Roadhouse here and like it very much. The food is very good. It is always very crowded and loud, though. They have a call-ahead seating thing where you call and get a confirmation number instead of making a reservation. The one by us keeps the floor pretty clean.

I like the food at Texas Road House but I hate the noise! I've only been 3 times because it was to loud for me.
Longhorns I like for the cowboy atmosphere, the food and price. The new trio I had gives you a piece of chicken breast w/a lemon sauce drizzled over it. A skew of shrimp wrapped in bacon (OMG!) and your choice of a filet or sirlion steak, garden salad, citrus rice(my fav) and a side dish.
Hubby and his friend are trying to get me to gain weight before I have my teeth pulled.....it's working. ^_^

I learned last year when he mowed over a newly planted dogwood tree....$50 worth of sawdust! Surprisingly it came back this year!! I have a wall of rocks around it, he'll hurt his lawn mower if he runs over it this time!!!!!!

Don't have either a Longhorns or a Texas Roadhouse near here.....grilling a hamburger tonight with corn & salad.....yes, you should gain some weight before the teeth are pulled, Pixie.....have a few milkshakes after...that should help!

Put some protein powder in that milkshake too!

Yeah...I was @ a whopping 110lbs and the winds up there were like 65 mph and he said no way.

Yes it does and I love meatloaf.
Brian is cooking the meal tonight...he's grilling a whole chicken cut in half and rubbed w/seasoning. COC, lobster and potato-onion packets on the grill. All I have to do is turn off the lobsters in 20 minutes and work up an appetite. ^_^
