It's dinner time, whats cooking?

Off kilter 3rd day chicken but not in the crock. Kabobs on the grill.

I always forget about kabobs....used to make them all the time.....

Those dust storms in AZ are called haboobs. I say they should cook kabobs when they strike!

we've had two Haboobs so far here this year. I missed the first one...think the kabobs might get a little too sandy though now you have me hankering for them!

So super busy, you should have seen the pile of invoices I had to process...
After doing some running around to the bank, post office, farm market, had just enough time for the kids to have some popcorn chicken and run to VBS

like I tell my stops at work.. better than no work

Going out to a cold place for lunch with a few friends......bagel & salad for dinner.....

it was! the corn was grown locally.

Came home from VBS and hubby had cooked some crab legs.....YUM!!!!

Hot dog, coleslaw, baked beans.....

So did community time at church tonight....did it all with having to cook or bake anything

Made an OUTSTANDING corn salsa, 2 types of chips
broccoli salad
fruit, fruit and more fruit
bought some mini cupcakes and lemon cookies
and made s'mores to go....melted chocolate, put marshmallow on a toothpick, dipped it in chocolate and coated it in finely crumbled graham crackers

Now 2 haboobs to herboobs to habras. So creative :-)

beef short ribs are in the crockpot.

Oh, yum! I had mac & tuna salad, deviled eggs, & salad.....only having ice cream for dinner....

Honey teriyaki marinated chicken halfs on the grill, chicken fried rice, fresh cukes and corn on the cob.

Bratwurst, corn on the cob and yams...all on the grill

I love fresh corn cooked anyway!!

Club steaks on the grill with avocado & tomato salad, small baked potato.
- probably my biggest meal of the week, I tend to eat less now in the summertime when it gets really hot.
