Going up to 83° today, humidity increasing throughout the day into the evening with heavy thunderstorms developing for tomorrow. Partly cloudy tonight with a low of 67°.

Gonna be a warm one. Already 80, with 64% H. More humid tomorrow with t-storms.

Had no power for about 1 1/2 hrs this AM. Heard a transformer blow - very loud! Power back about 1/2 hr ago.

82 and sunny, going up to 90.

Wow, its' going to be hot today. 87 degrees and the humidity is up. Did pick your own at the Farm Project and already need a shower. Not much gardening happening today. I'ts a good thing I watered the school gardens yesterday.

81 here right now per Weatherbug, which also forecasts the high for the day will be 78. So be it.

Hot & humid, but the tomatoes are smiling!

Unsettled weather here as we go up to 79° today, variably cloudy with a chance of thunderstorms. Probability of thunderstorms increases as we head towards evening, tonight's low 68°.

Woke up to cloudy overcast day that progressed to thunderstorms. Had about 1/4" rain. Sun just peeked through and disappeared. Radar shows more rain on the way possibly. It's 71 degrees here.

had a great rain overnight & drizzling now.. opened the windows for the moment.. but know they will be closed again later today .. going up to 81 but the humidity is supposed to be off the charts

Cloudy, foggy, & showery all day....we had a picnic on the porch today....the big family gathering is tomorrow at my cousin's...hope the weather is better.....

It's 64 @ the moment, heading for a high of 87 today.

Muggy. Partly sunny and 84.

With only half the year done, I have received a bit over 38 inches of rain already! And that undercounts the snow melt. Amazing.

Today the earth is furthest from the sun in its orbit - called aphelion. We are about 95.5 million miles away. At its closest, in January, it's a bit under 93 million so it's not that big a difference. The orbit is pretty circular.

Feels like it's the closest possible! Way too hot.

Way muggy! Became soaked walking the dogs....

Thunder & rain shower came through. shut off the computer for 1/2 hr. should miss the concert in boston so all will be well there. It goes national for the fireworks at 10 pm. glad the whole thing is televised here.

Perfect day, a few thunderstorms threatened to ruin our day but only one dumped some rain. Only for a half hour or so and at the end of the day... just enough to cool us off, water the plants and give the meadow a lovely look. ^_^
