I just spoke to the receptionist, and she didn't make the arrangements for my stuff - the newest management secretary did, and to be honest (I thought this while I was there...) she's none-too-bright. She's the one who called me on Friday asking me where my files are.
The receptionist asked if I wanted her to call me to let me know who the courier was. I said "No".
I just got an email from the advisor - apparently the courier attempted 2x on Friday to deliver. There is NO WAY we missed it. We jumped every time we heard a car door 2 doors away - and watched out of the window. I emailed her this. My DH wants the courier co name and we've asked several times... they aren't disclosing it.

We're at 97* everyday, 97* would feel cold to you! LOL!!!

It's 16c (61F) now, and the hottest we've been getting this season is 23c (73 F).

LOL mine either. We're sitting at 97* everyday with a low of 76*. My house hasn't seen rain since May 25th and we've been over the 95* mark everyday, with a heat index of 102* to 105* everyday since. I need rain!!

Actually, it's said that Calgary is only 3 hours away from a drought, it's that dry here...
So, we have rain now, but I love it!!!

Good night's sleep was had at 3 this morning LK. But had to get up early to take care of the plants before the unrelentless sun bore down on us.
I pray, the Lord intervenes and stop the projected drought in so many states. Farmers truly don't need to join the jobless.

I looked at myself in the mirror last night. I'll soon be 56 and somewhat my mind doesn't agree with my body!!
Then when I went on FB to chat with my family, I'm reminded again that my mind is truly 56!! My nephew was typing out Singapore jargon that I can't understand plus asking me questions on Justin Bieber that I cannot answer!!!!
Dear me. Looks like I must hit the youth department in any stores!!

Going to visit other sites, then rest myself.

Still hacking away, with phlegm. Yuck but essential for healing right?
This is a recurring bronchitis, and I'm too stupid to keep remembering that I have a weak immune system.
In the winter, I managed to 'minimize' it by drinking spiced tea everyday.
Now it's summer, I don't do hot drinks, except for coffee. I'm back to spiced tea and hoping it will be controlled.
Have to do my regular watering, but hopefully the next couple of days, prediction for rain will come true.
LK, thank God, you're not a farmer, if not you'd be worried to death!!

My church sister gave me a couple of cherry tomato plants, and now I have a vege garden!! Lolol.. still need to get one eggplant :(

They help me so much when I'm sick!! Praise God. Plus the microwave inventor!

Jaye I can't answer questions about Justin Bieber. Dave calls him Justin Gerber. LOL!!!! I've been real congested lately too, I'm blaming it on the air quality, in CA it's called SMOG, here it's called OZONE, it's the same thing. BLAH

Keep drinking that tea Jaye! Our water system comes from a natural spring, and so far there is a little water rationing. They are telling us all watering has to be done by hand, no sprinklers allowed. But just about everyones yards are now brown crispy grass, if they have any left at all! Our water and sewer bill runs about $70.00 per month, and that is just what we have to use for laundry and dishes and the flowers. Don't know what I would do if I had a large garden or farm.

When she sang in one of the awards shows at the beginning of the year she was absolutely horrible. She didn't hold a tune and was all over the place, big time. She has a good studio voice though, just don't get her singing live! LOL

I am so glad to see you post that Crissy. I just don't get her period! Then I am older so maybe that has something to do with it...who knows.

We got a little rain yesterday but had one horrible hail storm. I went to feed my son's dog and his yard looked like it has a sheet of snow the hail was so thick. Had to come back home as no way I was about to get out in that and get pounded---bad enough for the car.

Marion, hope you did not get dings on your car, or any house damage? Was there a tornado nearby?
