Nice, neat & subdued.
Coffee Break #61 Summer is here!
Very nice, pirl! Great design. Do you Remove it when gardening? Mine always stays on - or alarms go off.
Thanks, WC: just like me...LOL.
Thank you, Victor. I leave it on but wear gloves. Did your wife set the alarms?
Yes.
Very pretty ring, Pirl.....I have not worn a wedding band in years....my hands swell terribly......
Happy Anniversaries!!
Nice ring pirl
Today is David's 25th birthday, and he and Lindsey are now officially engaged, and her ring is very similar to mine. David said he didn't know.
They will be here for dinner tomorrow, I saw Lindsey and the ring on Monday - we met to get him a gift, and I wouldn't let her tell me the story so that I could hear it from both of them, and not have to act like I didn't know. David told me she said yes, but not the whole story.
Wonderful, Debi....so happy for the kids!
Nice new ring, Pirl. My hubby Just got me an "upgrade" also! Our 20th is not till next year but he said it was 20 years since the day he proposed! I do NOT wear it gardening. I'm almost afraid to wear it anywhere!
Great news, Deb!! Please congratulate them for me. They're both great young people.
Great news, Debi. Congratulations to them.
Christina - after my shower one day a few years ago I was using my electric toothbrush to clean the diamond on my engagement ring when the stone got loose and went down the drain. I quickly pulled up the trap plug so no more water would force it down further and Jack managed to get the stone: whew! We had it reset with larger prongs and then I began wearing gloves for gardening.
Congrats to the young couple!!!
This is so wrong. I know it would do wonders for my recovery.

Did for my Father's & Grandfathers. ^_^
I had a similar experience, Arlene. I lost my diamond in a pool just a few months after we got married! I didn't discover it until I was in the shower later that night after the pool closed. We went back to the pool the next morning and the pool attendant suggested we vacuum. He assured us that the diamond would get trapped in the filter. And that's exactly where we found it when we were done!
It's such a great relief, isn't it?
wedding ring in safe deposit box. Because my finger is larger it would have to be cut & I just can't do it. Superstitous? probably. but we do know we are married.
I remember when you guys were talking about the Friis Coffee Vault, so last week I bought one. Just got it. I think it's defective. The lid doesn't seem to be lined up right- it won't close. Sending it back. I hope the next one is better. Did yours have problems?
Beautiful ring, Arlene!
No problem with either of mine, Harp.
Okay, so I'm glad it wasn't just me. I'm sending this one back, but sorry I got a defective one for DH for Father's Day! Now he'll have to wait...
A very Happy 20th Anniversary to Mr. & Mrs. Victorgardener!!! Congratulations!!

Thanks, pirl!

Very pretty ring, Pirl!
Debi - so happy to hear about David and Lindsey's engagement! Please wish them my best! Exciting things happening all over the place here. Love is in the air everywhere I turn. Very cool!
Thanks, Louise.
It's so reassuring to see young love.
Very pretty ring, Pirl
Thanks, Jen. It took a lot of looking around to find it but I'm glad I got what I wanted.
Anyone know where I can find a hammock???
I posted this on the dinner thread too,
David and Lindsey's engagement story...
One of their friends owns a cabin and they do a "Pond Mile" every year, a race that is running then swimming across the pond, and there is some beer drinking involved too.
About 50 people camp out in tents for the weekend. There are a couple ponds. So Lindsey wanted to get into some games, and David told her he didn't feel good and would she walk with him.
They walked down a trail, and to the second pond. There were tiki lights around the pond, a fire going and a couple chairs by the fire. They sat in the chairs, and David got down on one knee, and a firework went off. Then he proposed, Lindsey said yes, and more fireworks went off over the pond. So sweet!
How sweet! Lovely story, I hope she wrote about it in a diary so their children can read about it someday. My Mother did and it was very nice to read it.
Jen..here ya go:)

Oh yeah should have clarified, I need one now, because once again I was a procrastinator in getting Father's Day gift. You would think I would learn, every year I'm on the lookout for one and then I go crazy looking for one at the last minute....I should order one on line for next year...geez
What a sweet tale of romance, Louise!
Sounds just as nice on this thread, Deb! And - you're a great mom.
Order tonight, click Expedite Shipping ...most will say:
"Delivery by DHL in 1- 2 Business Day at door if you choice Expedite Shipping "
and they will.
The shipping charges are probably going to be crazy though, huh?
