"Miss Manners" is a variety that doesn't spread. I have had this one for years and the clump has been slow to widen. I have had the other kind...with the same results as you guys.
JUNE Blooms
Stephanie...you are bad! LOL!
I have not had much luck with the seeds on the TX Star either. I have a lot of seeds....always saving.
We are over 200 posts and it may be slowing down for dial up folks. Next one with a lot to post needs to start a new thread I guess. "June Blooms part 2" maybe.
Just add 2011 on the title, please:
"June 2011 Blooms part 2"
Thanks
Another thread has already been started http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1190261/
It is a late planted bargain bin amarylis - it was a really pretty bloom, I poked a hole in a black elephant ear and inserted the bloom - couldn't resist. Thank you for your compliment!
I have SO been enjoying seeing all the beautiful and varied flowers growing in your gardens. I'll take some pics of mine tomorrow.
Drthor, quite the phallic sunflowers, hmmm?? :)
Skbryan, what is that first bloom? It looks like a pink flower in the middle of a caladium leaf. Beautiful and unusual.
What is cardon? Guess I'll look that up. Another unusual one...
Love the coreopsis and now I MUST get some daylilies! They have such beautiful colors and shapes. Love that Tiger Lily and all the others.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful gardens! Janet
