This NOID vine is blooming as well. It's a faithful bloomer every year. It produces small yellow flowers with red petals at the site of the bloom.

I have never seen that bush /vine with yellow flowers....pretty one. Is it invasive acting?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Not invasive at all. It's a native and Josephine tells me the name of it every year, but I can't remember it! LOL

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Stephanie, I don't recognize it, are you sure I told you the name? Of course, my memory is getting shorter by the day, but I find ways to figure things out.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Well, my memory isn't all that great either! LOL I thought it was you who told me. I'll try to look back through my old pics and find the name for us.

The Kwanzo daylilies are starting to bloom. I know most folks don't like these, but I enjoy them and they don't multiply in my yard.

Daylily 'Pure & Simple' So happy this bloomed this year since I moved all of my daylilies last fall.

OMG I luuuv those Kwanzo daylilies.
How tall are they?
Where did you buy them?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

They came with the house when we moved in 6 years ago. They have a pretty long scape, about 2'-3' tall. If you come to the RU in Arlington in the fall, I can bring you some.

Does anyone here have luck with the echinacea hybrids? My old-fashioned echinacea purpureas come up everywhere, year after year. I've spent a lot of money trying to get the hybrids to do the same thing, in the same spot. Not a single one has ever done well. Autumn Blush came back 2-3 years over at my parents' house (in shade). But that's the only one that has ever figured out that it was a perennial.

Irving, TX(Zone 8a)

pbtxlady, I have the same problem.
The only EChinaceas that came back are the regular pink and white and the white Razz.
All the other are just annuals for me too.
Thaks for your offer stephanietx, I don't know if I can make the RU

Dwarf Coriopsis tinctoria, seeds give such genetic variety. I also have 3 tall types that just happen to show up.
