JUNE Blooms
Very nice blooms, Cheryl! Did you ever figure out what your mystery plant was??
LOL, um yea...Coriopsis tinctoria, tall variety.
I have SO been enjoying seeing all the beautiful and varied flowers growing in your gardens. I'll take some pics of mine tomorrow.
Drthor, quite the phallic sunflowers, hmmm?? :)
Skbryan, what is that first bloom? It looks like a pink flower in the middle of a caladium leaf. Beautiful and unusual.
What is cardon? Guess I'll look that up. Another unusual one...
Love the coreopsis and now I MUST get some daylilies! They have such beautiful colors and shapes. Love that Tiger Lily and all the others.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful gardens! Janet
Anna, remember when we went to see those at Pappy Elkins park? Well they have destroyed most of the wildflower area and put in a drill site, sooo sad.
Josephine.
Yes, winter sown.
Ugh! What a shame. That was such a lovely area!
Well, I might have to get in on that seed exchange next year.
That's great picture! You two look like it was a wonderful day.

It was, but sadly that field doesn't have flowers any more, however, some of the wildflowers are coming back in spite of them planting bermuda grass in the area.

I got some raspberry M from Sheila or you one year which is in a shadier area. I bought the "named" one in the pic. I can't compare because the conditions are different. Maybe they are the same.
I may have to be sending a heads up to the ones I traded mine with.
The cardon reminds me of a thistle bloom
