Beautiful blooms, I don't have out of town company, but I have too much to do, so no pictures from me

Beautiful!!! I love them all.

drthor, I had a pink coneflower similar to your white one, but now it it is in the regular form. Has this happeneded in your experience? Maybe I accidentally dug it up with other seedlings.

Gaillardia Pulchella - Seed received in native plant swap. I had worried my rich soil would make all foliage and no blooms. They've grown almost to the top of the fence, so there is more foliage than usual but there's been plenty of blooms - even though the wind has beaten them horribly.

Dahlberg daisies and Prairie Phlox - The little Dahlberg daisies continue to amaze me. I want these mixed in everywhere next year.

Zinnias seem very happy with the heat. Just so sad that there aren't many butterflies like we usually have when the zinnias are at their prime.

Esperanza. Recently found a bargain on 1-gallon size, so now I have them everywhere. LOL.

bananna18,
the pink razzmatazz ( I think this is the name for the pink version) didn't came back for me either.
The white one came back every year.
I must buy more.
I found out that the ones that came back are the regular pink and white Echinacea and this puff white one.
All the other coneflowers don't came back for me ... I spent a fortune on them ...and that's it.

Pretty pictures everyone. That rain really made them grow.

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

My pink razz came back one time but not this year. Good to know that the white one is worth it.

I have had the dahlberg daisies come back for several years but in my yard they tend to look awful after blooming like crazy for a few months. I tried cutting them back and it didnt work. They look ugly during most of the hot summer which is a long time here and so I don't really encourage them. How do yours do midsummer on?
