Judy, Kim and I were talking today how sad we are that we can't make the trip this year. I hate having to miss the last 2 get togethers but alas life has had other plans for us. I still feel your armhugs from BJs!!!! Take care and if all goes as planned we will all get to hug next year at Bettys!!!!!

hi all - stopped in for a minute from delivering newsletters - 200 of them!! I've done about 75...
then I need to do the church washrooms (2).
Tomorrow I have 2 LARGE potato salads to make for the Stampede Lunch.......

Yes, our church has a Stampede Lunch every year at the time of the Calgary Stampede - this year it's July 10th.

It's bigger than Christmas here and US Thanksgiving combined, I think - the whole city gets "western'd up" in cowboy clothing, boots, etc, and everyone seems to gain a "western drawl" PLUS there are free Stampede Breakfasts, Lunches, and Dinners all over the city put on by communities, and companies. (Bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, and hamburger/hotdogs and steak/beans- all BBQ'd! It's quite the 2 week festival! There's horse racing, roping, chuckwagon races, etc, etc, etc.

Wow!! that Stampede looks like a whole bunch of fun!!

Will be thinking about you tomorrow having a fun time at your Stamped lunch...Bib, big smiles enjoy!

Next year is the 100th anniversary of the Stampede!

Good Day...I am singing and a dancing around this A.M.

The time has finally come!!! My girl is on her way...It's 10:28 and Liz and Kenny's plane lands at 12:05!!!

My gosh, been waiting 2 whole years...Then Last night Betty confirmed that she will be coming to the gathering as well...
I can't even tell you how excited i am about that!!!

I was really bumming that no one was able to make it to my gathering this this year, but Life sure throws some doozies, I will miss all of you.
You are all in my heart and We will celebrate each of you.

And the time ticks on...lol it's now 10:37...heart is starting to go a little faster, can't wait, ha looking up at the sky watching for the plane, lolol

Omg Barb, I've met Liz several times, when I took Debbie touring she also met the gang! We had a lot of laughs with Kenny and Steve..what a bunch..

The year. steve gave us the Chicago tour I was in awe of the waterfront..nothing like having a tour guide such as Steve..this year, bringing good walking shoes as per Steve!!

I do so hope Ann goes along with you Betty. This group of ladies is just what she needs now. She will so enjoy herself. Three weeks and counting!!!!!!

As of right now she is, said 'yes' on a good day..much can change here to Thursday. She really wants to see Chicago, something she and Mike said they would do, won't be a long stay at Judy's but none the less it will be an appearance...

Barb we are on the downslide, can't wait..took the week of so I'd have lots of time to visit!

Betty, you didn't tell me Steve was giving the water front tour. Now I am really really sad.
