... only if they wear a Tutu while running the bases. (lol!)
Coffee Break #60
Wow - did you see that couple in Canada trying to raise a 'gender-neutral' child? This is not your grandma's world anymore.
It's not mine either. Sometimes these 'well educated' parents become so self righteous they turn into idiots.
Amen!!
Unfortunately, that kind of story no longer even shocks me.
our bear came back yesterday and took out the other bird feeder - wife did the inspection while on the phone with me - she did not believe me the other day about a bear - while discribing the bent and battered shape the feeder was in and it was missing both its suet containers she stopped in mid sentence - the bear had left a pile of poop to prove it was there:)
feeder will be banged back into working order and not put back out for a few weeks - i did find two of the suet cages in the woods over the wall - only need to find one more
oh - and i came home to our mail box knocked off - this was done by either the bear who heard about the closing of the fast food drive thru or some would be black and blue teenagers!
Let's hope it was the bear! They are destructive, aren't they?
What a shame, Bill.
Maybe this will help with the damage to the mail box:

pirl thanks for the link - i like the normal one inside a rural one with concrete on the inside to surprise the vandals!
Found a small JM eaten down to the stem today. $#%$#^$!!
That stinks!
Only good thing is that it was munched just above the graft.
Got my pellets for next year delivered today.
Victor, deer damage?
They ate all but one bud on one rose and all buds on all roses in the back, every asparagus and the tips of the clematises. Odd but they have only touched two hostas this year and neither JM.
Where are the Navy Seals when we could use them?
Most likely. See some other JM and hosta nibbling too.
sorry to hear about smokey Bill... and Victor I know it won't make you feel better.. but the deer ate my sand cherry
:(
Cute baby robin! Good thing hope didn't kill it, like some pointer I know!
I am kind of glad she was a dope and ran the wrong way too... when I yelled for her to come the bird flew away
Oh, poor baby...I bet it was scared !
and the poor thing was looking like it wanted to trust me to help... I walked right up to it talking nice nice.. and it just had those big eyes.. like HELP.. I lost my momma
awww poor baby!

Yes, but nothing will come of it.
Saw my little guy perform in the school concert (chorus) tonight. Was fun. Felt so bad during the band concert when a boy who was the only clarinet player messed up his brief solo. He started to cry and I almost did right with him. Was so nice to see the kids next to him consoling him.
He could have covered it up by saying it was an impromptu jazz interpretation... (lol!)
Hee hee. I planned to give him a few encouraging words afterward, but did not see him.
awww, poor kid!
I had a very good friend who messed up in the graduation concert in my HS, he played classical guitar. He felt really bad, but no matter.. he went on to one of the best musical 'colleges' in the country. Better to make those mistakes in front of 300 people when you're young, than 30 million people when you're older, - live & learn. ☺
Wow, I missed so much! Welcome home, Celeste! Your pics are great. I can't wait for the arboretum ones. Marilyn, how's your stepson's wife? I hope she's improving.
Guess the rapture was a fake... like all the other predictions. No matter, I didn't believe it anyway.
My cousin's wedding was a lot of fun. I forgot to have someone take pics of me in just the dress, so here's me standing with my family wearing the dress, the jacket on top, with matching purse. That's my mom in purple and my sister, Winton in light blue next to me. My sister, Summer is smiling in the white shirt.
Harper
Everyone lookin' good, goooodd!!!
Hope everyone had a great time !
the G word never offended anyone in my mom's town... the fox was out screaming outside last night again... still the strangest sound I have ever heard an animal do.. just like a woman screaming... happened at around 4.. but I managed to calm the dogs down even though it was still carrying on outside.. and went back to sleep
Very pretty Harper!
(- the dress is nice too, lol)
sorry missed your photo this morning Harper... the dress looked great!!!
Nice pic, Harp. Glad you had a good time. Looks like you were the only on who knew the photo was being taken! Like your sister's matching water bottle. ^_^
Very nice, Celeste. Don't know what variety. Probably Bloodgood. Nice seeds.
