Pixie..just looked at your photos...very nice..looked like you had a great time. Was the black squirrel in DC too...we have only seen them on our visit to Niagra Falls when we crossed over into Canada.
my sister has black squirrels in Ohio too.. when I first saw one I slammed on my breaks and said what the heck is that.. LOL

Air fares to Montreal from NYC the end of Aug are just about $500 per person round trip. It's only about 1 1/2 hr flight, if that. Amtrak for all four of us is under $400!!

Thanks again for the prayers & hugs for Kathy....I spoke to her today....her speech was slurred but she did understand what I was saying. Pixie, loved the stained glass windows. I saw a black squirrel a few weeks ago at the dam.

How do you keep other animals from eating it?
can't... but a few years ago Randy put nails in the tree just for them.. sometimes I put the fruit out to attract fruit flies for the hummers.. dual purpose!!
