Hi all! Well, I'm trying the haircut for my Clemson spineless today. I seem to be only getting around seven pounds a day from them and I have 1100! Yes, 1100. I have no idea what the problem is. They are gorgeous plants. How much water do they need? I'm in Oklahoma City with temps at 99-100. Any help?

Some varieties are not as productive. I've only grown Clemson Spineless once. I prefer Hill Country Red. They don't require a huge amount of water, but with that heat (we have it in Texas, too) you should be trying to water deeply at least every other day. It could also be your soil. Is everything else you've planted doing well? Is it getting full sun or partial sun? You might also try a new post since this one is years old.
