2011 BURLESON SOUTH RU **JUNE 5TH** (TRADE LIST)

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Sure Josephine, I do have room for more LL Sage if its no trouble for you sweet lady.

:-S

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

No trouble at all, is it for the school garden?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Debnes, no... the elm is the one that was a host for the Question Mark butterflies I raised though. The Mourning Cloak apparently used the Hackberry as it's host plant and then the cat pupated on the Peach below it.

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Glenna, a bucket would be great. Anything I can't spread, I can compost.

Deb, I don't have suavolens, and I'd love one. What can I bring for you?

Cleburne, TX(Zone 8a)

I am starting to print the table ID placards for the Burleson round up and need all the member names. These are the ones listed as of this morning. If your name isn't listed, please speak up so it can be added. Don't want to miss someone's name for their trade table.

I think you need City-Sylvia, she says she is coming.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

You can remove my name. Due to some health issues with my husband, I had to take him to the ER today. They admitted him for observation because they can't figure out what's going on with him. I just hate it when life gets in the way of my fun!

Stephanie, hope your husband is better soon. You will be missed at the RU.

I found some small starts of phlox pilosa , if anyone was trading with Stephanie. I will cover you Steph.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Got you covered Kate on the Lizard's Tail. Coffee grounds would be great.

Anna...question ....I dug John Fannick to share and two have lost leaves, are they testy to transplant?

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Sylvia, I can bring you some daylilies. I lost a lot of my new ones over winter, but there are some good ones left that are growing well and can be divided. The divisions may be small, but they are healthy and will grow fast. I'll look when I go out to water and let you know what I have. I'm sorry that you lost so many hostas. Many of mine in pots died this winter too or maybe in late summer or fall. We had too much going on, and I must not have watered them enough because the cold alone should not have done them in. I've pretty much started over with hosta liners this spring. The hail whipped up on them last week, but they are putting on new growth already.

From your list may I please have one of each:

hosta KROSSA REGAL
hosta REGAL SPLENDOR
hosta ABBA DABBA DOO
TROPICANA CANNA

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Sylvia, I am not sure about the term "liner" but hostas I would love to have one of the three that you have. I have the "twister" I got from you that is large enough I think I can safely get you a start of this year. You mentioned you lost yours. Look at my list and see if there is anything else you would want for them.

Sorry bout Mark, Stephanie. Will be praying for him.

Sure Pattie- Got you down for B. suavoelens

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

Sheila, I don't think I had too much trouble ....maybe wilted for a while but then it was fine.
City Sylvia...may I have 1 KROSSA REGAL? Let me know what you would like from my list.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Sylvia, I have big plants of these two daylilies on my list. The double-triple one is 'Kwanso,' and the other is H. fulva, called tawny daylily or ditch lily. Would you like some of these too?

KEWL!! THANKS GUYS! Sheila Liners are what some people call Plugs. Its the result of the TC process. Most growers buy these from the TC house and pot them up for a couple of season in 4" pots to be sold to the trade. TC= tissue culture.
Stephanie I am sure going to miss you, but I hope Mark is ok.

PAT they are beautiful! Thanks

BTW one of my FB friends is trying to ID this day lily ... any ideas?

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

I appreciate it, Anna.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you Anna, what would you like from my list?

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

No trade necessary. I found them while I was weeding. I always think I am done with digging after I mulch, or atleast I try to be! Then that unmannerly bermuda grass (and others) grow too much!

Dallas, TX

PAT, SHEILA AND BANNANA18 I GOT YOU LISTED!

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you, Sylvia. I've got you down for a bunch of daylilies.

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

Syl-
Do you still need Black & Blue? I can pot some up
for you tomorrow. LMK

:-D

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Sylvia, if you have any Krossa Regals left, I'd love to have one. I have a tiny little liner from Jim's Hostas that I can trade for it. Let me run off and look up the name again... well, I can't find it in the dark. I'll have to let you know later. I also have some cypress vine seeds for you.

Kate, I will stick some pink skullcap cuttings for you, but they won't be rooted by the RU. They seem to root pretty slowly. They do pretty well once they do get rooted, though. And yes, please, I would just love any poo you can spare.

Same goes for those who asked for buddleia from me. I just got them stuck yesterday. They're in little mini-greenhouses and they generally root up in a few days, but probably not by Sunday.

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Oh, is anyone out there looking for irises? My mom's neighbor just dug up her whole bed and has a pile of them. No ID that I know of, but they are a beautiful pinky/lavender color.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Everyone!!!

You should have received a dmail from me on behalf of Sybil today. It has the google map to her house. Just click "get directions" and plug in your address and hers; then click for directions. Phone numbers are there for you and she will have a couple of balloons on the mailbox so we don't miss it!!! Check your dmail for it and if you didn't get it dmail your email to me.

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

I would love a few irises.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you for the directions Sheila, I don't think we will have any problem.
