Very nice here last night, - I love to go to sleep with the little 'pitter patter' of tiny little rain-droplets falling on the window..
56°, wind from the East Northeast at 12 mph and we have misty conditions outside.
Rain becoming steadier and heavier during the day, winds increasing a bit as well. We're just shy of today's high of 58°.
Weather in Your Garden # 96
LOL....same here, Sherrie.....not raining at the moment, but puddles in the drive, chilly, & cloudy.....can't believe we have at least 3 more days of this, can't remember the sun. This is primetime warbler viewing, but I don't feel like getting soaked out there.
Thunderstorm/ heavy rain here now.
Same here.
1.63' so far today, and over 3 inches since the rain started.
It's slightly over one year since I installed my weather station. In that one year, I have had 59" of precipitation! And I am sure that it does not accurately measure snow melt. Wow.
When we were in Ketchikan, AK, they mentioned13'4" of rain annually. I'd be so depressed!
Not to mention the long dark months!
No wonder I've heard of their alcoholism problems.
Showers this afternoon, but a peek at the sun for a few seconds......
When I asked Alaska residents how they managed during the dark days, they said, at least we have the Northern lights. We were there in August, and it got dark around 11pm and light around 5am. I remember we started an evening walk around 9pm.
as the case with other people--wet!
True, Deb.
rain again!
Stood in the sun today for about 5mins then it disappeared again
So it's your fault.
Pouring rain most of the day. Sun came out late this evening, but there were ominous clouds all around. Supposed to rain again tomorrow.
Funny, when I was in Ketchikan it was 80º, sunny, hot......never saw a sunset the entire time in AK. Disconcerting. Never really rained here, just mist and fog.
I've got 1.25" so far, but it's raining heavier near the ocean so I'm sure they got more and I noticed more flooding on the streets as well, but then again they're at sea level...
(ps. There's just as many alcoholics in the sunny tropics pirl, if not more.)
- News flash for NASA! ..they can stop looking for water on other planets, we have plenty here.
57°, light rain.
Edit: annoying typing error.

poured again last night.. more for today .. can't stand it anymore
Rain, rain go away. Wet, rainy 61degrees currently. I had the veggies out to harden since Saturday. They are soggy and my morning glory seedlings look drunk.
those areas that flooded over the winter are in jeopardy again
same here
I want to go outside! This is the pits.
Rain, rain, rain. 0.74" more since midnight. Almost 4" since this started.
Plenty of happy mosquitoes out there!
64°, wind from the East Northeast at 16 mph, light rain
Temps will drop here throughout the day to 61°, heavier rain today with a high probability of a thunderstorm.
Windy with periods of rain tonight, (what else is new...), low temp tonight around 58°.
rain here
Carbon copy of yesterday, day before that, etc. Enough already!
50° rained all night & glommy & drizzle this morning. About a 2" total since Thurs. Prediction: 1/2" today & tomorrow & 1/4" on Fri. morning. We have to drive to Maine Fri. afternoon & it JUST better stop. MN, that is a threat.
Sunshine for the last hour and 63 degrees. I'll take it!!!
Stopped raining for a bit. More to come. 67.
Massive downpours today and I feel like poop, head is all stuffed up
Cloudy, nice and cool here with occasional light rain.
Got my sea holly in the ground during the break before.
65 and overcast.
just drizzle most of the day - glad i got so much planted last weekend
Raining hard again.
Sorry, Jen! Rained the hardest here today since this nastiness started......
