What's blooming in your gardens? Please feel free to post pics of your blooms!!
This is Siloam Double Classic daylily. Such a pretty bloomer!
May Blooms
Those are gorgeous!! The first one looks like a rain lily and the second one is a pink Turk's Cap.
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks, I can never remember the name of some things. I'm going to put it in my gardening journal now so I don't forget again! Janet
All looks great! Stephanie, you need to post that pic of skullcap as a suggestion for catzgalore. That would be beautiful ground cover
How does the rose campion handle our summer heat? I love that plant but never thought it would do well here.
All the pictures are beautiful!! Where have I been??
I was just gifted a rose campion like yours Carla! Love it. The guy that gave it to me lives in Edgecliff (s. FW) so I know it will do well. He said his is in sun most of the day. There have been about four blooms since I planted it last week. May have some to share at future RUs down the road.
Too tired to post mine tonight....
morganc, just beautiful! Love the water too. Quick question about cannas. Are they shallow rooted? I am thinking of camouflaging an ugly back fence but all the cable etc lines are there,
I've had Rose Campion now for several years and it does quite well. I have mine planted in morning sun, all afternoon shade. It's one of the first things to wake up in the spring, but also starts to fade when temps get into the mid-90s. It's one of the few things that I will make an extra effort to keep watered all summer (this was one of my Dad's favorite plants, so it's kind of sentimental for me). I love having the color in the flowerbeds early in the growing season.
