Ugh - looks like it was the mother who killed the boy in Maine. What a sick world.
Coffee Break #59
I saw that.
So that's the flavor I couldn't identify! Maybe we should bottle it and use it on chicken..
Ugh! Lost my taste for ice cream.....Very sad about that child.....am hoping it was not a client of my stepson's wife who is a social worker in that part of Maine......
Anyone have plans for the rapture on Saturday?? I'll be enjoying a nice dinner with my Astoria friends at an Italian restaurant.
I knew those pressure cookers were dangerous! Just mentioned my stepson's wife, only to find out she was in a bad car accident on Route One in Maine.....her car was totalled, & she had problems with her heartbeat, so now she's in York Hospital.....am working at church on Sat. Hopefully, that's the right place!
just weeding & planting Victor
Oh No, Marilyn! How horrible! Will keep her in my prayers. So sorry to hear that!
Hope she is okay, Marilyn!
Hope they did not use Samoyeds!

Crazy thing about that pressure cooker, sheesh
At least they weren't eating dog, depending on what kind of dog food, I wouldn't mind eating it.
No plans for the rapture on the 21st
Hope she's ok, Robin
my sister gave me doggie bakery treats for the dogs.. they smelled so good I wanted to eat em
hope she feels well marilyn
i will be spreading mulch and weeding
Celeste just left.. we had a nice visit... and loaded her up with plants to take home.. I so wish we all lived closer and could do this more often
Not good news with Kathy....she suffered a stroke....either before or after the accident, & has been transferred to Mass. General.....her speech is very slurred, & she has no memory of the accident. This is her second stroke...she's also had 2 heart attacks....she lost her youngest brother after a heart transplant last year, & her other brother & sister have both had heart attacks as well. Mother & father both gone from heart related problems.
oh no.. so sorry to hear that
Thanks.
Oh man, so sorry to hear, praying for her and her family
Did everyone read "today in history" on the homepage?
1862: The U.S. Homestead Act was signed by President Abraham Lincoln, allowing applicants to claim title to 160 acres of any undeveloped land outside the original 13 colonies. Over 1.6 million homesteads were granted until the Act was repealed in 1986.
Repealed in 1986???? oh man...wish I had known about...or at least my parents....we could have been owners of 160 acres somewhere in the Midwest.
just chased a doe out of the yard... after all this rain I have to go spray tomorrow.. rain or shine
Oh yeah, I'll need to respray to keep the bunnies out
I saw some of my coral bells were nibbled on the other day.. but with all this rain there was no point... better stay away from my lilies!!!
Jen, do you think you would have found 160 available acres??!
Maybe if I looked hard enough...LOL
Marilyn - so sorry to hear the news about Kathy. What a stacked deck! Keeping her and your stepson in my prayers! She'll get good care at Mass General.
Allison - how cool that you got to see Celeste!! Did she enjoy her Washington trip?

Glad to hear you had a great time, Celeste! Did Allison decorate appropriately for your visit? I would expect her to have just the right theme in the front yard! lol I'm so looking forward to seeing you guys in July!
