Both male Orioles
DAILY BIRD PICS VOL. 398
Wow! What a great start Charlie! Your Common Yellowthroat and Prairie Warbler shot are so beautiful! I wish your wife all the best and a speedy recovery... and she needs to kick YOU in the knee for that comment! LOL!
Burn... love your Purple Finch and B. Waxwing... two birds I have yet to see!
Huggergirl... beautiful Rose-breasted Grosbeak! Also a pretty Oriole! Two more I want to see!
Mrs_Ed.... very nice B. Oriole!
Lily... congrats on your Great-crested Flycatcher!
Adelbertcat.... gorgeous Steller's Jay! I love their faces! Your Quail is pretty too!
linthicum, great start with the Common Yellowthroat! OMG, you have a ton of birds that are Lifers for me. Oh, and those Eastern BB's and Yellow-breasted Chat are great, too. Beautiful bird variety!
burn_2007, I really liked your pix, but the male Purple Finch, Bohemian Waxwing are my favorites.
huggergirl - nice shot of the rosebreasted grosbeak sharing a stump with the Chipping Sparrow.
Lily_love - nice oriole. I've only seen one, an Orchard, in all the time I've been birding.
adelbertcat - that Stellar jay was SWEET. But those Orioles are gorgeous.
Hack
That's a real nice close-up of the Downy Hack!
Beautiful Pine Siskin too!
Gadzooks!! What a thread. A lovely, poetic start, Linth. Brilliant images, each and every one. Love the Mad-eyed Vireo.
Beautiful shots, Burn. The Waxwings are exquisite.
Tamara, I had no idea the Rosebreasted Grosbeaks were such substantial birds. Just look at it next to the little ?? (whatever it is).
Great shots of the GBH Wild Rose and of course, I adore the Osprey shot. Love the duckling race. So cute. Well done.
Good to see you again, Hack. Nice shots. The Myrtle Warbler is really gorgeous.
Lily_love and Mrs Ed, lovely Orioles.
Beautiful birds, adel. I'd love to see the Jays.
margaret,i think its a chipping sparrow, the Grosbeak is maybe getting fat ...LOL.. he is at the feeders all day long an he is not easily scared off, must have been a long flight home ....
Marna,i felt lucky that the oriole landed on the tulip ,made for a pretty shot.
