well Texas, mine didn't either the very first year I planted it.. strange how some do and some don't.. Question:

Should a Desert Rose stay outside or not?

this is wild ginger, it has to be dug up.. any takers? The bloom is weird looking, it is a prennieal.. it is growing in the dogrun under the igloo house which comes out this weekend..

Good evening everyone!
I can tell from all those beautiful healthy plants that we have the most talanted and dedicated gardeners on this thread.

GAGirl1066, beautiful hydrangea and pot combination, you have inspired me to get mine put together. I have a few of the plants already, but need to visit Lowe's for potting soil.
It is normal for the color change on the Rangoon Creaper, it is the same on the single flowering plant.

mjsponies, thanks for showing your Hoyas. I have to agree, the rosy leaf plant is my favorite. I will have to get one, your morning glory picture is perfect. You are the only person I have seen with those Leafless beaked ladies Tresses. They are special!

I have no new plants to show off tonight, but snapped a few pictures when I propped up the plastic on the hh to get some fresh air.

Joeswife, you can't give up on a plant until you have tried it 3 times, that is the gardener's code. Love your roses!

Phughes, Good to see you!!
I had to wait almost 4 years for my Rangoon Creeper to bloom. I bet your's is going to bloom this year. The only trick I know is what I have learned from Rj, trim it in the fall.

I am really missing Plantladylin. If someone has a tropical plant that they would like to show off, they are welcome to start a new thread.

Kay Jones, you have a beautiful yard, It was very nice to visit through your pictures.

ardesia, those Alstromeria are new to me, thanks for showing them!

Rita,
I love my Leafless beaked ladies Tresses. it was a matter of luck finding them growing on the side of our drive. I have two pots, but the deer ate the tops off of one. They ( the deer and the rabbits) have been pretty pesky this year. They are hungry. Lack of rain means lack of forage for them...so they are getting bold and coming up into the main yard.

One more pic of the Orchid Cactus from this morning

Rita- Cool Anthurium ! Which one is that ?

Alstromeria should be open this morning. I think it's the same as Kay's and Ardesias..I just have a tiny clump of it but I hope it spreads more this year.

OMG, Veneta is gorgeous.

Debra, beautiful Carribia and texasbigleaves, sorry you lost your "Fourth of July" rose. It was gorgeous.

mjs, I echo everyone else on Veneta. Beautiful.

Rita, thanks for giving me an Aroid fix;) Love that Philo. and is that Anthurium crystal hope? I lost my Mehani and have no idea why. It was so easy to grow the first couple of years I had it. I'll get another one though.
