I agree, - disgusting.
Money Matters - Part 6
What will they do if I don't fill out the form? it's very invasive. They want to know how much my mortgage is, how much I pay in homeowner's insurance, what do I think my house will sell for, do I still have an open loan, etc etc and want to know everyone's names
That salary is INSANE!
Had new sneakers put on my car, with wheel alignment and balancing came to over $800
No Goodyear
Gas station along the Palisades Parkway had $4.69, but they are always much higher.
$3.99 here in the country but in town today it was $4.09 and $4.19 for diesel.
$3.73 in town but I didn't have my bank card; $3.88 later when I went to the nearby community store/gas station.
gulp, I saw 4.08 tonight on shell station--but they used to do 5 cents off THurs so maybe they jacked it up tonight so they can 'discount' it tomorrow and still ask 4.03
Oh that is CRAZY!
Went down to $4.21/ gal from an avg of $4.29.
Good direction. Still way too high.
disgusting
But not surprising. Maybe he'll hire the lottery winner and pay him six figures while allowing him to remain on food stamps.
- Yes, incredible isn't it? and also sad when you think about it...
I have found with my personal observations, (with my mouth wide open btw), that truth is sometimes stranger than fiction, - it's a rather disconcerting realization actually... lol!
From what I've read, all the junkies in Baltimore keep that scrap metal well scavenged before we could get to it. And for a couple bucks a day. I'm not sure I believe there are a bunch of people getting much money there.
victor is it time to buy the oil ETF again?
Don't think so. If anything, I may be looking to buy the one that that shorts oil. I think we are in for another rough patch.
3.83 yesterday
Jim brought in 1,290 in junk this week. He worked probably 4 hours. He falls into these junking deals and comes out smelling like a rose. He has 2 more jobs lined up that will bring in big bucks. I wish I could help but I cant drive a truck and trailer - at least I never tried. Hauling in a dump truck alone is candy.
Thats great, schikenlady. I must have compared apples to oranges.
I paid 1 800 GOT JUNK guys like $250 bucks to take out a piano, and two other small pieces of old furniture. I suppose that was easy money for them. The four guys I met looked like young college grads!
I talked to a lady once whose 'hobby' is to go to auctions of abandoned storage units. You have to clean it all out in a short time then have whatever you find to sell, scrap, use, whatever.
Wow - see the LinkedIn ipo today? Priced at $45, it went as high as $120 and ended at $95. Reminiscent of the go-go 90's. Poor suckers who bought at 120 must be kicking themselves.
My sil's best friend does the storage shed auctions, hits the towns heavy trash pick ups too. Then resells on ebay or at the big flea market in the area
Lots of fleas, I'm sure.
har har
Maine fill up =$ 3.89
Conn. = $4.69 (interstate)
N. J. = $ 3.69
Virginia $3.89 (interstate)
and you don't have to pump your own here!!!
We have to go to the city tomorrow and when we go we always fill up in Jersey. Love the cheap gas but hate the traffic on 17
Yes, that was nice. Maine has both, self service and full service....depending where you go.
Sorry to hear that.

Head & Shoulders costs an arm and a leg.
Soap in general has gone skyrocket. I am finding that laundry detergent - Wisk, Tide the name brands. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
I am frugal for the most part. What would you do with a big empty 50 lb dog food bag? I get it empty and put it in the trash can as it would go to garbage and might as well go full of stuff :-)
LinkedIn is down to $85. Feel sorry for the sucker who bought at $120.
Not me. I stay away from new kids.
