I think meatloaf will be on the menu for tonight.

Stopped in Great Barrington MA, and had Pad Thai at a Thai restaurant.....

Last night we had linguine tossed w/olive oil, chives and garlic, garden salad and Chicken in A.1. Marinade 'New Oleans Cajun'. Yummy!

Sounds yummy! Jen, Thai food is like Chinese, but not as heavy.....much fresher & lighter. Tonight will be a mystery....whatever I find in the fridge!

making Kahlua Flan for Randy's party tomorrow... prepping fruit dip.. baked ziti.. and going to make sausage, peppers & onions... burgers & dogs if anyone is still hungry.. my friend Margo is bringing Randy's fav meatballs in a brown gravy .. like of like Swedish meatballs

Went to Beale St Cafe, had blackened chicken, DH had Jamablaya, David and Lindsey are here for the weekend, they ordered pulled pork sandwiches. It was a fun night.

did not need the burgers & dogs... all the other stuff was way too much already.. everyone could not believe the sausage came from costco.. which is the only one I buy if not from a butcher.. flan was a big hit... life is good!!!

Randy and I both passed out at 9:30 last night... after running all day we were pooped out... Michele's quote "you out did yourself".. made me feel good last night... one live & learn moment.. I roasted peppers on the grill.. for the first time.. I didn't realize it would take so long to cool down.. my buddy Margo kept yelling at me to give them more time before I peeled off the skin.. but at that point I wanted to be done and just relax and eat.. they did come out good though.. will do that again for sure.. but only sooner... oh I made some killer garlic bread.. I found one of the 12" round artisan rolls that looked great at A&P... and I remembered some I had years ago that my buddy Vito made with provolone cheese from Italy.. now granted I could never find that quality cheese here.. but he used to stick whole garlic cloves into the bread and cover it with stinky cheese.. cover with foil & bake it... I switched it up a bit and ground up fresh garlic in the food pro with olive oil... and just left the container on the counter to flavor the oil until I was ready for it... spread it on both sides of the bread.. put in some good provolone and smoked mozzarella... there are only 2 small pieces left out of that whole big bread.. everyone went nuts ... for winging it .. it came out really good.. Michele's buddy was appalled that I didn't have a recipe and trying it for the first time.. LOL

Dinner was great and so was the cake. Beef stew for tonight in the crockpot.

I had chicken soup....comfort food helps with the cold rain.....

I did make it a healthy one with 3 scoops and 3 toppings.
Strawberry ice cream with straw. topping, orange-pineapple ice cream w/pineapple topping, and black raspberry ice cream with raspberry topping. ^_^
