Weather In Your Garden # 93

RD thanks, yesterday's fall didn't accumulate, and today some of the old stuff is going away slowly. I'm sorry you had such devastating winter losses. There's no real damage here that I can see. The odd branch but not significant, impossible to tell yet what didn't make it.

No sign of daffis, Iris reticulata. I haven't planted anything due earlier and I doubt anyone else did in the last several decades. In any case, I've never seen any signs of it.

Upcoming temps sound too good to be true, but it's great to be here just the same. Happy spring, everyone!

Hit 55 here today....as I was walking , a man & son waved me over.....dead chick, either eagle or osprey....the nest was poorly made, looks like the wind blew him out....I walk past that pine every day, & have not seen a sign of either eagles or osprey! Very upsetting.....

42 now and drizzling.. going to 68 and raining

The sun is shinning and it's 28 at the moment. We should hit 40 today but snow showers this morning will turn to rain by noon time. I don't see any sign of snow...it's sunny.

Poor chick. On the road I take to school each day, there is a dead hawk. Maybe last year's fledglings are trying out their adult skills and not so successfully.

Thermometer said 40 degrees at 5 am this morning. Rained overnight, but it's supposed to be at least partly sunny today. I actually worked outside yesterday. Had a Pileated in my tree briefly. I'm always amazed at how large they are especially when I get to see them fly overhead.

This week looks warm and wonderful. Hope the weatherman is right.

Its white out there again. Man this is depressing. Quite a few people are at wits end up here as the cabing blues got hold of us.

47° here, there's a gusty wind from the Southeast at 16mph and we have very cloudy skies above.

Supposed to go up to 55° today, so we'll have to warm up another 8° before evening. - Doesn't look like that's going to happen, but we'll see... Rain and thunderstorms later tonight.

The bank just said 72 and the sun is brightly shiniing. # yr old grandydaughter helped me 'weed' this morning for about an hour :))))))) She had a slumber party here last night with me. Nothing better than that!

Rained all morning, was grey and damp all afternoon. Sun came out about 4:30 while I was in the dentist chair. Too late. Now it's grey and overcast again. Made it into the mid fifties though.

Gonna be a rainy week.

Went for a bike ride after dinner in shirt sleeves.
