It's Spring!
(ok, we're transitioning into Spring... But it's still Spring!!)

Sooner or later we gotta warm up, - I'll just keep that thought... ☺

30° with a light wind from the West at 9 mph, our windchill is 22° and we have totally clear skies overhead.

Sunny & chilly with a high of 44 expected here today, windchill will keep it feeling like 36 at most.
Going back down to 27° tonight

32 and sunny. Less wind than yesterday.

Supposed to get up to 50 today. Bright and sunny here

That bright magenta really caught my eye! It's presently 28 here & cloudy....supposed to warm to 45 with sun....we'll see...

Cold, windy, pond frozen again. 22*' very sunny, feels like 12*!

Lol, no......have a problem with egg laying peeper frogs. boy they are loud! Neighbor is always whining, I told him to put in central AC, that's what I did.

I love the peeper frogs, they lull me to sleep

Love those peepers. Step outside each night starting any semi-warm late winter evening, and then, one night they are there. And then at that moment so am I. They say more than our weathermen on TV, bless all their hearts. Peepers speak from their genes, they are the soil thermometers we want to read, we wait to hear from, and we didnt have to order that thermometer online! On these ridiculous cold nights lately (yeah yeah, I know...it is still only March) I step outside in the evening to just hear them. They dont lie...thank you dear peepers and croakers. Needed that. If I could, I would sing back to them. But I like my neighbors too much .

I've been listening for them too, until we had this last cold spell.

not out here yet - soon though pond still has ice on most of it and wet lands too. they are deafening when they start.

When they put up the local walmart they created a stream from spring runoff. Every spring thousands of eggs, new construction above changed runoff, so after spring rains it dries up. I go catch as many pollywogs as I can and put them in my pond. Very loud!

31 now... going to 51.. the word nor'easter was muttered in the forecast

So, it's 20 degrees again this morning, but to my horror... "WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH LATE FRIDAY NIGHT... " What about March goes out like a lamb?

Going up to 45° today, winds will be light, - from the Southwest at less than 10 mph. It'll be clouding up as the day progresses. Low for tonight will be around 33°. A rainy day with downpours is forecast for tomorrow down here.

Yet another brilliantly sunny but brutally cold mornings in WNY. Currently 24 degrees heading up to the mid 40's. Some type of mixed precipitation is predicted for Thursday and Friday.

More crappy weather, no lamb here, March was backwards this year. Pond is frozen again, even my pansy's and primulas are balking at this weather!

The ice that had melted off the rock ledges is back again....it's 36 right now, heading to 50....will work in the yard. No peepers at the pond behind the dam as of yet......hope weather isn't too bad Friday, I've been called to sub.

36 and cloudy. I'm hoping the snow stays south of me. Looks like DD is going to get it.

(insert bad word) i am on the edge of 14 to 10 inches. forecast has increased from this morning - hoping for a yoyo effect and it will go down and walk the dog!

NO SNOW! I raked out a couple of the smaller beds, but have loads more to do....today was perfect for working, & I feel tired, but good tired......

One weatherlady is pushing the rain north. Hope she is right. that would put us out of the snow belt.

we got the snow. I was hoping we'd miss it, it's stopped for now.
