Cute shots, Weeze and Celeste! My girls are exactly the same. The minute they hear the camera come out, they immediately stop doing anything cute! My iPhone is much quieter, so I can get better stuff on it.
That is a fantastic shot!! Love it!
Yes - wonderful!
Cute cat pic, Celeste
That was some determined little dog
LOL puppy pile!!!
Love the puppy pile shot.
Amazing about that dog found at sea. Hope he gets a happy ending.
Cute pic of your cat, Celeste.
Karen
aaaaaaawwwwwww.... love the puppy pile!!
Fleas already!? GRRR found one on Abby this morning, she is like a magnet to them. These guys are draining my plant budget!
A MOSQUITO? *sticking fingers in ears and humming very loud*
A very cute photo of the dogs, Dem....I just gave my dogs their flea & heartworm meds for the spring.....
thanks for the reminder to put the spot stuff on
Adorable puppy pile photo, Dem!! It made my day!
Robin - do you have to give flea stuff only once a season??? I hate giving it to our girls because the chemicals are not supposed to be good for them in the long run, but I can't subject them to the fleas down here and the dangerous ticks in NH. Our vet here uses a VERY expensive one that I probably will not be able to continue year-around. She suggested we sprinkle 20 Mule Team Borax on our carpets and work it down to the base with a broom. It kills the larvae and it has worked well to keep things flea-free indoors, but they are all in the sandy soil outside. So far, none spotted on the little white girls. It's the ticks in NH that are more of a problem.
I'm currently pet-less, so I really love the wonderful photos you guys put on this thread...Thank You !!!
Speaking of draining the plant budget, Ronnie, I have decided to stop buying coffee out. I have been spending over $100 a month on that. But rather than put it towards plants, I'm going to put about $100 a month away in savings to go towards repairs on the car and vet bills, and other things that may come up. I never have anything in savings and I complain when I have extra expenses, when it's my own fault. I need to step up to the plate and be more responsible.
BA, you need a pet! I hate being pet-less.
Karen
Her's my pet here's my pet!
- well she might as well be my pet since I feed her and give her water..
Comes up to about 5' from me when she sees me in the yard now, doesnt mess with my plants, (she does love new tender red rose leaves though, but I'm willing to share some..) Startles me sometimes because she comes up so quietly, the other day I was clearing out my potting table and when I turn around she's right in back of me! lol!
Taken less than 10 min ago.
Karen, great idea! When my husband was working he was spending at least that much and treating the guys at times. It adds up so fast.
Cute WC, what do you call her!
Cute!
Ummm...
I call her 'the rabbit'..
- I cant help it I got no imagination for pet names!! lol!
I guess should call her something, she's been with us for a few years now.. I'll get DW to think of something. ☺
Ok, that didn't take long. In fact it took DW all of 1sec to name her..
- We'll call her 'Harvey', DW says it's the perfect name because she follows me around. lol!!
Harvey it is and soon you will be naming little Harvey's I'll bet!
Hee hee!
Girl named Harvey? Like a boy named Sue?
Harvey is cute!!!
I think it's a female, because she fills out once a year, then gets skinny again real quick, I don't know where she has her litter...
We're just using 'Harvey' as a generic name like in the movie with Jimmy Stewart. It's fitting though because when I'm gardening she comes out of hiding right to where I am. ☺
WC, she is adorable!!! Give 'Harvey' a nice treat...3-5 fresh blueberries or a small piece of banana. I can almost bet if you put a piece of banana in your hand and hold it out she'll come and take it. Thats how I got Patches to trust me and eventually let me pat her.....banana's are her weakness. :)
Didn't realize Jimmy Stewart was generic. ^_^
lol Victor!
Thanks for the tip Pixie, I'll try that in the morning, she's always hanging out in the patio waiting for breakfast!
Harvey is very pretty.....haven't seen a bunny around here in ages....did see a black squirrel today, though. Louise, I put the flea & tick meds on from March to Dec.......I've never seen a flea on either one of them, but last year, Robby had ticks.....& of course, tested positive for Lyme again. He was limping so badly I should have known! I thought it was arthritis because he's almost 9, but since the antibiotics, he's been prancing around again.
Harvey is very cute. Wouldn't last around here with my Patches on patrol.
Marilyn, sorry to hear about Robs. That's tough. I've been through that with Patches.
Karen
Ya, I started Wall-e's flea and tick and heartworm meds last month, too
Robindog. . . Mr. Robs is GORGEOUS!
Would you? I would've stayed away from the zoo. Mr. Robs being silly......
Harvey! so cute and fuzzy!
Harvey doesn't look like a wild bunny
She's a Long Island bunny,
...eats gourmet carrots. (lol!)
lol
