How did the zexmenia do? I recall that last year I potted them up earlier in the spring and the plants were smaller. All of mine (13!) are badly wilted. I am going to wait a couple days, keep them moist then cut back the dead and see if they regrow. Next year I will get a much earlier start on them. Not sure if its the heat or the larger size that is the issue this season. They are tough and I suspect most will survive. I am curious what you did and how they did.

Yes I see them, they are smaller plants than the ones I tried. I should have cut them way back before I dug them up but we will see.

Most likely they will show signs of life soon. I used to dig up zexemia for RU and they looked pathetic for a couple of weeks.

My company is gone and i think I can join the party now.lol

Can check for flame acanthus seedlings but they would be smaller sized. Let me know if anyone wants any.

Got you down for germander. I have plenty frostweed too, I'll put you down for one of them as well, unless you say otherwise. Remind me at the fall RU for byz corms...it's not really time to dig them, yet.


Steadycam3, may I have a yellow bearded iris, please? I can get you 'clara curtis' mums and will dig to today and see if I can get asters.

Cam, I have Mexican mint marigolds and blackberries. How many of each would you like? If you have enough, I'd like to have two each of your purple LA iris, yellow/pink lantana, and cedar sage.

Cam, thank you, and I have you down for 2 pots each of blackberries and Mexican mint marigolds. I'll be happy to bring irises for you too, but I can only guess which clumps might be peach, Unless they bloom before the RU, I won't be sure.

Here's my purple La iris. My yellow bearded one has already finished blooming.

No, Catz, I'm sorry, as I rec'd them from someone else. They are orange with the center being darker..as well as having some yellow iris too..they may not be as big a flower though..again a new aquisition this spring.

Could you put my name on one of the lilies please. I'm helping my sister this year with her baron landscape and her favorite color is orange :)

Catz...if you are open for more of the orange dayliles I will be digging some soon. Also some solid purple iris before too long.
