Well, my goodness what a surprise!!! Good to have you back.
Josephine.
Deb, I have a rock rose you can have if you'd like it.
I have a 'hot lips' salvia potted for you.
Only a few weeks left and I still have a lot of stuff left. I don't want to bring anything back with me!
What I think I have so far:
1 passion vine, common native variety - for catz?
3 cowpen daisy
3 small zexmenia
5 different sedum that do well in TX, will pot up a few if wanted - for patrob, can pot up more if anyone wants them
2 R. hirta
2 Rudbeckia maxima
all are still in the ground and I am working on getting them potted up and going before May 1st.
zexmenia for Sheila, frostweed and patrob. (trying to pot up 2 for each, been sort of lazy) 2 zexmenia for Chuck
passion vine for catz.
3 zexmenia for the Fielder garden (Frostweed) and some phlox pilosa
Patrob gets 6 types of sedum (2 per pot as I am running out of pots!)

Thank you Cheryl.
Nice to be here Josephine, Sheila and all!
Yes to Rock Rose and Salvia, Thank you!
I have some chicken poo i can bag up in like say 2lb. pkgs if anyone is interested..
Dennis i will take your overflows that work in butterfly garden, and would love to trade some poo for Yellow Columbine if you have spares.
Now we're talkin'!!!
Sorry, Debnes, but I only have the one columbine that is already spoken for. You can have anything else on the list. Anyone know which ones would be best for a butterfly garden?
Okay Deb, I'll put your name on the rock rose.
Thank you, Cheryl, for the zexmenia. I have Autumn Joy sedum, but I'd love to have starts of any others that you have to share.
Catz, I potted up some west Texas mistflower for you.
Oh Thank you sooo much Dennis :)
Does anyone have a small rock rose and are they the native ones?
C
I have a small native Pavonia lasiopetala, Rock Rose, if you need it.

Josephine.
If its available I would love it Josephine. They are so pretty.
I will save it for you Cheryl, I need to put up my list soon.
Yes to the RRose Stephanie! Thank you so much!
Duplicates are welcome. Groups of plants look great and I have lots of space to fill in at the school.
Updated my list

Debnes
I only have lambs' ear and very hardy pink phlox to trade.
This was taken late in the fall. Actually, much prettier than this pic shows.
Well, now that I've looked around a little more, I see that my garlic chives is way too big, so I'll dig some of it out in case anyone is interested. Same for sage and marjoram. Let me know.

I don't know the names of many flowers, but everything I plant will get full sun. I would appreciate anything. The only thing I'm really looking for is (2) buckthorn trees, but I doubt if anyone has those sprouting up around the yard.
Sybram
I have a fair supply of Mexican Buckeye seeds if you want some.
Don't know if I'll have many plants to bring. Most of my seedlings get farmed out to relatives and friends.
Will bring a few dozen 1, 3, and 5 gallon pots. May also have several sets of reusable trays leftover from geraniums, begonias flats.
Thanks, Chuck. I looked that up on the plant files, and they are very pretty. I use a preemergent in all my beds, so I wouldn't have any luck planting seeds, but I would love to start them in pots for summer or next spring. What do you think?
You could try a few this summer in pots, and definitely in the fall. They thrive in alkaline soils found in the hill country, not sure what a more neutral pH would do for them. I doubt they would grow in acidic soils very well.
sybram~ could I get a lambs ear from you?
sybram, please check my list to see what I can bring for you. I'd love to have some of your pink phlox.
Catsgalore, you can definately have some lambs ear.
Patrob, I'll have some phlox potted for you, and I would love to have blackberries if you have any left. If not, I like the ghost plant.
Can't wait to see you all again.
Okay folks, I just potted up a bunch of stuff on my list, so speak now!!
sybram, thank you! I definitely have blackberries for you, and I'll bring you a pot of ghost plants too.
Patrob I will pot up some sedum, you should know all the kinds I grow are ground cover types. Dennis do you have anymore jack in the pulpit?

Thanks, Cheryl. Ground cover sedum is just what I need. The deer ate all the sedum I had in the front garden and there's nothing coming back from the roots, so these will go in the high fenced back area. Do you have a list of plants you are looking for?
Not really, just looking for unusual natives.
Stephanie, could I get some Phlox pilosa from you? I can give you some Ironweed.
Josephine, how many pilosa do you need? I can certainly pot up a few if you would like them.
C
Sure Josephine! That'll work!
Yes Cheryl, I would like some from you also, I need some for the Fielder garden, i will see what I can have for you.
