They are about the easiest plants to start from pieces so I can pot up a good number.

2011 NORTH CENTRAL TX RU **MAY 1ST** (TRADE LISTS)
Last year was my first year ever to start seeds. This year was my first time ever to winter sow. I have had moderate success and have a couple of extra seedlings that I'm adding to my haves list. They are still small and I have no idea if/when I am supposed to start fertilizing them. I have looked around but it seems to be a matter of preference for most people. I went out today and cleaned out my greenhouse and up potted my extra seedlings to share. It will not hurt my feelings at all if no one is interested in such small seedlings but I will list them anyways. Please check my list..... http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=8437077
Catz, I have a passion vine for you. It's still in the bed and small but trust me they grow fast.
C
I potted up 13 zexmenia and 6 are spoken for. I find that plant is hard to transplant and they might not all make it or at least they might look poorly for a few weeks. Frostweed would you like anymore of those for the garden?
C
Oh thank you C :) Is there anything on my list you would like? I just updated it LMK :)
Actually I would like a coral nymph salvia seedling and the wall flower if you can spare both.
C
I also have a few Zexmenia. I found a couple of West Texas Mistflower yesterday and potted those up, too.
Stephanie, do you have any techniques that you use to make digging up and potting zexmenia less stressful for the plants? Mine suffer a lot and it takes a while for them to recover, if they don't just die.
C
I'll put you down for both C :)
Catz, can I have an aloe pup?
Patrob, can I have a lady in red salvia?
Yes sir :) I'll put you down for one. Did you look at my updates?
Cheryl, this is my first attempt! I'll let you know if it works. LOL
I have you down for 'Lady in Red' salvias, Dennis.
Patricia may I get one of the Mexican Mint Marigolds? I have my list up now.
Also Dfwdennis and Cheryl check my list for what you want for items already promised.

No Dennis, sorry I don't, but a pot of walking iris is yours, thanks.
Sheila, I have you down for Mexican mint marigold. I'd love to have a 'Blue Crown' passion vine, 'Hot Lips' salvia, and chocolate mint.
You have them Patricia!
Wow Guys, I better get my list going, or I,m going to be left out, I promise to do it soon.
Kate… do you still have catnip available?
Catzgalore… may I get a bulbine from you?
Check my list for a trade please.
Sheila, I have you down for some pink skullcap. I have another clump to thin out and divide, so I still have plenty left!
Thank you in advance for the Copper Canyon Daisy!
I think I have gotten a couple from you and they never make it. Where do you have them planted? What is your trick?
I'll mark it down Sheila :)
Can I get a lyre leaf sage from you please?

I have them in full blazing sun and not in the best soil. Also, they don't always get a lot of water and they probably dry out during watering. They're out on the curb by the street, so you know it's hot out there in the summer, too.
I love it too Sheila, mine are doing fantastic as well.
By the way, Happy Birthday Girl, I hope you have a great one.
Josephine.
Thanks Josephine!
Thank you Sheila :) Happy Birthday :)
Catz, Sheila... yes & yes :)
Thanks Kate :)
Love the lyre leaf sages that I have! They're so happy where they are and getting ready to bloom.
I hope you have a wonderful birthday, Sheila!
Dennis, can I get one of your purple leaf lyreleaf sage please?
Congrats to having one of your pics be the picture of the day on your birthday, Sheila!
Sheila, could I please have a white yarrow and a black and blue?
Many thanks,
Kate
Got you down for the lyreleaf sage, catz.
Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes!
Stephanie....yes I was surprised also by the bloom of the day.
Kate ....consider them labeled for you.
Happy B-Day Sheila, I need to check out those pics.
Cheryl
