Arlington, TX

Sheila,
Do you have any hot lips or BandB left?

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

I have some zexmenia, if anyone who wants some did not get it. Plus I have a ton of other stuff to get rid of...

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Dennis, I would like Zexmenia. Im also interested in both sages, the phlox, the fall obedient plant and dwarf sweetspire. Do you have these remaining?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, Cheryl I will put your name on both.

Catz.....I would love to have you up and help, there are quiet a few. We could go ahead and get that out of the way if you want or wait until after the RU. I will dmail you my info.

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

Steadycam3, I have you down for all of those. Can I have a firespike or two?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Anyone still have any passion vine? I'm in the market!!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I am sure I can find more 'blue crown' if you want it.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

That will work! I am trying to cover part of my fence.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I have done a bit more investigating and I have a few of the following:

Blanketflower (Gaillardia aristata)
EAST Texas Mistflower (this one likes shade/partial sun)

I only have 3 at the most of each.

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

Stephanie, can I have a blanketflower?

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Sure Dennis!

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Yes, Dennis I have plenty of firespike. Thanks for the trade. Cam

Ben Wheeler, TX(Zone 8a)

I've been waiting to see if I can make it and I think I can!

I don't have much to trade since we moved in the fall but I will bring what I can.

TRADE:
2 purple datura seedlings
2 or 3 blue cloud salvia seedlings
2 Esprit Penstemon seedlings
Daylily - 2 medium size fans of Orange Voils http://www.oakesdaylilies.com/categories/daylilies/colors/orange/products/3035-orange-vols
2 fans of Purple Palace Prince http://www.oakesdaylilies.com/categories/daylilies/prices/under-10/products/3997-royal-palace-prince
NOID daylily (4 - 2 fan divisions)
Hosta (will add names as I pot them up)
Sedum: 3 types (2 pots of each - one is a lovely bright green - medium leaf, one standard green large leaf and one a purplish-grey large leaf)
Purple native flowers: 6 - 4 inch pots with several plants per pot.
White yarrow (growing wild next door - 4 small pots)
Frostweed - 4 small pots
Lady Banks rose cuttings
1 or 2 native Viburnum
1 or 2 Sasafras as well. (I haven't dug these because i've read they don't transplant well but I will see how they do)

I have HUGE bags of leaves to make leaf mold - all that's needed is add a shovel of manure or dirt, some water and let it compost. I can bring as many bags as my truck will hold.

Home made grape jam (Which is the BEST EVER!) regular and sugar free

We moved onto our property in the fall and I have some great natives but I'm not sure what they all are but I will bring some.

WANTS:
My list is SO long. I'm building a yellow and orange with a touch of white bed so anything for this bed would be great. I'm especially looking for:
evergreen ground cover (junipers, vines, etc)
yarrow
lily (esp. tall orange and regular yellows and Monte Negro)
Salvia (esp, Lady in Red)
Spirea
Grasses (fountain grasses/perrineal)
liatris
lespedeza
aster
maltese cross
daylily
canna (yellow or red leafed)
iris
daylily
Elephant Ear
cotoneaster
roses (rooted PLEASE)
purple majesty millet
phlox (tough ones only please)
iris
shade plants for companions to my hosta
Viburnum (fragrant, esp)
mountain laurel
flowering quince
Shrubs

I'm planning on building a red bed this summer so "RED's" would be great, too.
If you're not fond of red beds please do a search on GW for a red bed and you'll see why I want to do something similar. It made me a believer.
I will update this during the week.
Mindy

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Mindy, may I get one of the Sasafras trees from you for a Bridal Wreath Spirea? Glad you are getting to come join us.

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Mindy, please put my name on two of your 'Blue Cloud' salvia seedlings and possibly divisions of your daylily and hostas. I have several of the plants you are looking for, so please check my list and let me know what I can bring for you. http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=8437273

Hey, I have everybody's requests down in a word document and will go back and edit, when I'm thinking clearer. I'm trying to shake off a cold bug and will be back in the game soon :0)

Ben Wheeler, TX(Zone 8a)

I am supposed to be WORKING but just keep trying to figure out this incredible post.

Shiela - I will bring you a sasafras tree for bridal wreath spirea. If I can dig up 2 trees or have something else on my list you might want I'd love to have any of these if you have them left: salvia (Either variety) or black eyed susan and passion vine.

Patrob - I will save the blue cloud salvia and daylily and hosta for you. I'd like any of the following: liatris, lady in red salvia, winter jasmine and possibly four oclocks (never grown them before)

DFW Dennis - if you have any fall obedient plant, sweet spire or phlox I'd love some. I will be adding a few things to my list so let me know if I have anything you'd like.

Catzgalore - I'm not sure what is already given away but if you have liatris, lavender, any salvia, ech, lespedeza and ESPECIALLY cats wiskers (which I think is already taken) I'd love some.

ALSO, some NOID hosta

Sybram - may I have some lambs ear and phlox please? Is there anything on my list you might want?

Stephanie - if not spoken for I'd like a pink skullcap and either sage. Let me know what I can trade you please.

Steadycam - if you have a yellow iris and lantana I'd like to trade for them.

Cocoa - If you have any of the following I'd like to trade: purple millet, american germander, pink bouncing bet, clara curtis

I'll be adding to my list as I fine new things to bring so hopefully I will have something to trade for the things I'm asking about.
Mindy

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

Mindy, I will put you down for your requests. Can I have a native viburnum and dome hostas, preferably the kind with blueish leaves, if you have any? Thanks!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Mindy....sounds good; I will put you down for all if I have them...need to look back at my promises and what I can pot up.

Arlington, TX

I potted up some Asclepias curassavica from my winter sowing last night, does anyone want a few? I have 5 available (if they didnt die while I was at work)
C

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Newton, I want 1 or all if no one else wants one. Last year the caterpillars just did my plants in. I did not know to pick some off so the plant will survive. I will do that when I get another one.

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Mindy, I have the elephant ear and if you have any plants with grey/silver foliage I'd be interested. I would like the purple/pink iris if you have enough. I have you down for yellow bearded iris and yellow pink lantana.

Patrob, I forgot to say OK to the mystery irises of which one might be peach.

Dennis, I hate to ask so much from you but I looked up the ghost plant and I love that. Put me down for whatever you can spare. Also the Chrissy brugs. I'll take both if no one wants the other. And...please look at my trade list on DG and see if there is anything there you might want. I have seeds out the wazoo. I even have seeds that are not posted there so just ask. Thanks. Cam

Arlington, TX

Steady I will bring you some. They are small but growing fast. I will check and see how they did if I ever get home tonight.

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks, Newton's. I appreciate it. Sounds like you are anticipating a very long day. Hope it turns out better. Cam

Arlington, TX

Well I am doing remedial classes at my school and it makes for a long day with students. The good news is it will be someone else's turn next year.
C

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

I would be interested in a asclepias curassavica, if you have any left.

Steadycam3, in your last post you were asking me about ghost plants and brugs. I think there has been a mix up, since I don't have those. Were you thinking about patrob?

Goldthwaite, TX(Zone 8a)

Cam, I read the part of your post about my mixed irises but skipped over the part directed to Dennis. Both the 'Chrissy' brug cuttings are beginning to develop roots, so I'll pot them up and put your name on them along with a pot of ghost plant. Could I get some of your Purple Heart and pink ruellia?

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

Mindy, I put you down for all of them :) I had one cat's whisker's left and put your name on it as well. Could I please get one pot of your purple native flowers, some homemade grape jam, and a hosta (depending on variety) please? Are your sedums the small kind of the large kind?

Arlington, TX

2 milkweed each for dennis and steady. They are seedlings but big enough to plant out now.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Mindy, I have you down for skullcap and one (or both of the sages). The mealy blue sage is difficult to root, but I'm hoping to get 3 rooted.

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Sorry, Dennis. I was confused.
Patrob, I have you down for purple heart and pink ruellia. Thanks for Ghost and Chrissy.
Catz, Hope you did not forget about the Whiskers for me. I'll be bringing your firespike.

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

I didn't forget about your whiskers Cam :) I have both of them waiting just for you :)

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Mindy, I have two very small fans of daylily 'Golden Girl' that's a pretty shimmery golden yellow if you want them for your yellow/gold garden. Let me know!
