LOL! I own it but it's on VHS, I have a buddy who will put it on DVD for me.
Let me know if you liked it W.C.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I see Charlie Sheene is back from the tower of babbel.
OHHHH my gawd .He is definatly on another planet.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

- It was very good, one of the few 'feel good' movies set in a war background, with very good actors.
Their 'mission' is a good one. ☺

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Speaking of mission, anyone ever see The Mission with Deniro and Irons? Very good movie.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I saw it and it was THE movie to see when it came out in 1986. I also saw Fitzcerraldo (sp) 1982 Klaus Kinski can do no wrong in my book.
Beautiful Amazon Jungle scenery.

This made me giggle. I always thought it wasn't fair that only the man could have more than 1.
I'd want a rich one, a Mr fix it and one to go shopping with.

Missed that one Victor, I saw Top Gun & Platoon in 1986. ☺

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I've seen Platoon and Hamburger Hill, both very good but very violent which is why I don't like war movies. LOL

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

I didn't see Hamburger Hill, I figured they weren't talking about hamburgers.. Platoon was depressing, the photography was very good though. I prefer the old war movies, mainly 1940's. I like seeing the vintage airplanes and the actors like John Wayne, Robert Mitchum, Robert Taylor etc..

The actors 'made' the movie then, now it seems sometimes that the violence and special effects make the movie, sometimes it's a little too realistic! I don't like coming out of a movie theater with my stomach in knots.. lol

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Robert Mitchum...yum!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I just figured out the difference between 40's entertainment and modern stuff.
The old guys had talent. No talent now days but what the heck sound engineering and special effects can make any one a "star"

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

There are talented people. Just fewer of them.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I agree.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Tonight at WC's!
(I just love saying that... lol!!)

I cant imagine 24 hours with that voice in my ears.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

I could probably tolerate 5 min, no more.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I didnt even watch her series.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

I watched it, - about 2 times, (just to find out what all the 'whoopla' was about), but it didn't keep my attention. I ended up swatting the Tv with a fly swatter because I thought there was a mosquito inside. Annoying voice..

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

WC have you ever watched 'Primal Fear' with Edward Norton? It is one of the best mystery thriller movie with a twist I have ever seen. It is also the movie that started me watching him as an actor. He was amazing in 'American History X' which was a very hard movie for me to sit through, but I did. Also amazing in 'The Score' another recomendation if you like high action, good acting.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Was Primal Fear about the death of a priest?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

YES!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I loved that movie.
I only wish Norton would find other parts that dont type him as a thug with a baby face.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Hmmm, this sounds interesting,,, I like those sometimes, (if they're well done), in fact I watched 'Vertigo' before 'True Lies' yesterday..

- Going to check it out, Thanks Pixie!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Just checked wikipedia and saw he was in The Illusionest. That was a departure form the thug. I loved that movie.
My memory is so bad I think I saw Ther red Dragon and Painred vail but cant remember it.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I saw 'Red Dragon' but did not realize it was him in it at the time, DH said he was good in ' The Italian Job' and 'Kingdom of Heaven' w/Liam Neeson.. I did not watch those 2.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I did see him in Modern Family. He played a rocker Ziggy Stardust I believe. I just read that this AM and forgot. Wikipedia is a great help.
