We had parent/teacher conference today and I asked his teacher if he was really that smart or she was being too easy on him...she started laughing and said "no, he's really THAT smart"

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Congrats, Jen! (He should be severely punished for the B, however. ^_^)

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

He's a leftie, it was in penmanship

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh, I so feel for him then Jen!!

Thomaston, CT

Yes, this lefty got much worse than a B in penmanship! Happy he did so well! Soup for supper on this too cold March day.....

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

This lefty fought w/the teacher on a regular basis because of it.

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

This rightie learned to type.

Thomaston, CT

Gee, Pixie, I'm surprised the teacher tried to change your dominant hand....I'm older, & the teachers left me to be a lefty! But, of course, we're more creative! LOL

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Not change... but hold the paper and my hand at a certain angle which would cause me to cramp. Naturally cramping leads to messy writing and flunking. I was comfy at a different angle but she wasn't I guess. :(

Sword fish ~ broiled, salad and herb roasted baby taters with a loaf of french bread.

Pizza night!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

pizza here too.

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Today my wife and I are celebrating 23 years of wedded bliss.

We tried to get into Red Lobster and a few other places, but after finding each one had an hour to 1.5 hour wait ended up at Denny's. The t-bone steaks were very good, and so were the maple bacon sundaes. Yes, maple syrup on vanilla ice cream with cooked, crumbled, bacon. They were very different but very good.

Congrats Dave! Dessert sounds good.

They're soul warming, Sherrie, which we need in this never-will-quit winter! I had pork souvlaki, courtesy of the Greek restaurant.....
