Same b.fly. This is one reason I use the railings instead of my cane. This b.fly perched on my finger, and I took these photos using one hand. I really like point and clicks, that don't require two hands to steady them, but then again, I really love the telephoto on my other camera. : - )

Maybe he liked my nail polish? Sure was a real treat to get to hold one. They were constantly fluttering around and several had landed on me, but of course I had the camera, and DH didn't.

Sure is a beautifully colored b.fly. Almost jewel toned colors. : - )
Right after this photo, I carefully placed my new friend on a leaf, and it was a struggle, 'cause he didn't want to go, but DH was getting impatient, so I coaxed him onto the leaf.

I'm not sure what these are. It appears there is at least one red eared slider (bottom front turtle), which is a water turtle, and I'm not sure about the others. But they were next to the water even though I never saw them in it. : - )
I've always been fond of turtles.

This is an odd photo. Above the railing is a tank with some weird critter in it. I think a long nosed turtle. I was still trying to get a good photo of the spots on the b.fly and it wasn't co-operating with me. : - |

You are probably going to get sick of seeing these flowers. I don't know what they are, but I love the color, the way they make sprays, and the b.flys love them! : - )

DH is insisting I take another photo of all the b.fly's at the top of the shade screen. Can't make out much more than their silhouettes. : - |
Sure are a lot of them though! : - )

DH is really getting impatient with me taking photos of the plants. He is a lot more understanding about the b.flys. : 0 )
But this is such a pretty yellow flower! : - )

DH has to stop at the displays inside, on the way to the gift shop. LOL!
Arthropods are creepy looking and I'm glad they are dead and framed. Wouldn't want to wake up next to one! : - O

These guys aren't so creepy but they are bigger than the Walking Sticks we are used to. : - )
You really have to look close to see them since the terrarium they were in was fogged and scratched up.

Don't know why this was included, but I took a couple of photos to show my boys. This guy was huge. Ours are maybe an inch long. Kinda hard to tell, but they are much smaller and a light orange in color. Kinda yuch! : - |

I really tried hard to get a clear photo of this, but it was really hard with all the people walking through. : - (
Still it should give you some idea of the kinds of b.fly's native to Malaysia. Although, I'm pretty sure there are others not pictured here. : - )

These last photos are a memory aid to me. Since I have such a great forgettery, I use these photos to help me remember what is what, you all know I'm really lousy with names. These help a lot!
