Bugger-Boo Creek got cancelled...thought 'Charlie ' was coming tonight but it was a false alarm.
Watch for the TinChicken
Charlie sounds just a bit impatient to meet his Grandma!
^_^
Actually it was a faulty test that had everyone shook up. A test to measure the amniotic fluid was done last week....she was at a good solid 8. Today the test said she was at 3.8 so they were going to induce before he went into distress. The doctor w/a level head said...do it again and an utra-sound, sonagram and a pelvic check. All came back fine and the second test said 6.8 so they sent her home. She has to go back in on friday to have the amniotic fluid tested again just to be safe.
Thank God for all the tests they can do now to insure as much safety as possible.
Yes, and he was very active while on camera :)
Show off!
I never heard of an amniotic fluid test
Amniotic fluid tests have been around for ages. They can test for things and not need to draw blood.
DD worked on a study of 2 yearolds whose moms had had fluid tests .The study was done to see if the fluid tests had harmed the fetus's.
I've heard of amniocentesis, but not something to measure the fliud.
I'm sure DD is very willing for Charlie to appear......the last month is not fun!
She's still hanging in there, so no Charlie today :)
groaaaaan. That makes me feel tired and cold.
i can see none of the brown/green here
Me either...but those twigs out in the back forty are looking more like 5' apple tree's now.
DH cleared more snowbank around the mailbox. Snow is halfway down the outdoor hydrant which is chest high on me. I worry the the pressure of the snow has packed to ice & wonder which plants will come through.
The snow went first under the evergreens. Must be its not as deep there.
2 windows fell off the roof, Celeste??!!! Wow! You did get really hit! I'm so glad to see Marilyn's front yard showing some Spring Preview!
I know how much you guys are deserving a big break SOON!!! I really do feel for you all!
This is a first for us.....the cellar side of the door going down to the stone cellar is covered with frost inside the house. Oh MY!!! lol
No! LOL No windows fell off....we have a daylight basement....there are 2 windows at the base of the house, you just can't see them.
I hope that's your NH house, Louise! Some snow has melted off the south garden, & the roses are all broken....at least they can be pruned.....
I have matted wet leaves from under the snow in the garden. If it ever dries, I guess I'll have to start raking them up.
So do I and it will be the first thing I clean up when the weather gets warmer.
It will feel good to see whats under the matts. DL's,Siberians and JI's are flat.
Narcissus and tulips are showing.
Just checked the window. Snowing on everything.
What a downer.
