I know the temps have been lower this winter but as we just had a warm spell for 3 days and the chick might go into shock with the approaching sub zero temps, I have furred her up.

Jo, she looks sooo cute in her fur wrap!
Pretty cool. cluck cluck. Snowing here, but not much. Patti
Had 3+ inches of snow before I left the house this morning.
We are all sick of it.!!!!
It feels as though it's some bizarre form of punishment by now.
I just love the fur wrap for Chicky.
We are just sick of it, sick I say!!! I am so looking forward to springtime bloomies!
Only an inch & next storm is predicted to pass south of us. In the 20s however for temp.
Recipes often call for "seasoned chicken."
This photogenic chicken has been through some real "seasons."
Boston Area, It is a seasoned chickem indeed. The macro setting would reveal some ageing.
HEY! Where's her fur??
Wahhhhht? That fool. out without her new coat.
What a ditz
LOL
If Victor had a clue about a cute chick wearing only feathers and freezing in the snow, he'd be here in a flash.
Todays chick.
We are due for between 6 and 10 inches of heavy wet snow beginning tonight.
Poor chick will be buried again!
Alas and my hopes of spring dashed with it.
Just curious: what are those brown things in the tree in the background?
Ge1836 , Oh My, Naked chick...risque behavior....Patti
Yep, feathers can only hide a limited amount....just go to Las Vegas if you doubt...
Holding her ground in this weather.
Sorry that you're getting snow, Jo.....heavy rain for here.....a tiny part of the southside garden is appearing....hoping the rain uncovers more!
Talk to your local authority about changing to sand for winter road pertection.
Eeek.....I would, too.....this rain should wash all the salt off our road.....the pavement has already collapsed up the road a piece....guess I'll have to go down the hill instead of up....our town switched from sand to liquid salt a few years ago....much better for my gardens...I used to have to haul away tons of sand!
Its snowing so fast the chick is half hidden again. Tomorrows pic should be interesting.
wow
here, chick, chick,chick.
bye, chick. I hope this snow will melt soon.
We are getting 50 degree rain on Monday....hope you get it, too!
I hope so too. We are due for the same.
